The IRRRG statement, in an attempt to maintain its anti-intellectual (theological) position – then omits completely that once the US and Israel were finished with exploiting Iraq – they overthrew its Socialist regime and executed its leaders (including Judges) in the most brutal of fashions – the body of one Judge detached from the head as he fell through the trap-door) – all actions that Iran supported. Has this IRRG statement omitted these facts because they are inconvenient – and in fact embody the exact blue-print being deployed by the US and Israel toward Iran at ths exac moment?

So, here is the choice – a left-leaning Islamicist regime (that also attracts centrist and right-wing Islamic views) vs a right-leaning Zionist regime (funded by the US) – that is rejected by the left in the West. The analysis in the below article might be termed “secular” in the modern sense, as it attempts to materially (and impartially) assess the existential material conditions pertaining to the US-Israeli War on Iran. I say “impartial” – but of course this assessment is from a (capitalist) bourgeois perspective. It is as impartial as a US university can muster – and only then because there is a system-wde dissatisfaction with the Trump regime. Remember, Obama (the Democrat) threatened Iran with a military invasion, and the destruction of Iran is as popular with the Democrats as it is with the Republicans. The type of discontent being expressed below is really about attacking Trump and his decisions. If a different leader was in power in the US – who had not attacked the US education system – most US universities would be pumping-out pro-war ideology by now. Press TV, of course, appears to be a UK based, left-leaning Islamicist-friendly channel supported by disaffected leftists (and former Labour MPs) – that pursues its own amorphous (but slightly Trotskyite) agenda. Marxist-Leninists must learn to “see through” the propaganda (left and right) and extract the required material details from it. This is one of our required survival skills – living within the capitalist system.

PA can only justify it along very narrow, sectarian grounds – as it flirts with Trotskyism and the far-right. Genuine leftists should find Islamic racism toward Jews disturbing and not in anyway part of a legitimate working class struggle. I say all this as supporter of Palestine – and opposer of Zionism. However, I an NOT a theist and reject ALL notions of a god sat up in the clouds who is somehow orchestrating all this nonsence!

There were no emotion, or overly passionate accusations contained in the statement, only the listing of thirty-two names of brave – but “dead” – Cuban soldiers. They were not traitors who have been bribed as Trump insisted, but Cuban soldiers stationed at the request of the Venezuelan government to serve as core bodyguards by Maduro’s side. Under the three-dimensional US siege involving more than 150 fighter jets and dozens of warships of the US military, more than 30 people used small arms (and naked eyes) to identify friend from foe inside and outside the Presidential Palace – resisting for a full 20 minutes despite the terrible odds, before all finally being killed. Along with the brave Cubans fell an equally brave twenty-three Venezuelan soldiers. The so-called “sterile kill” turned-out to be a chernal-ground paved in blood.

Jordan is one of the must disgusting examples of tis urn-coating – actually using US-supplied missiles to shoot-down Iranian self-defence missiles as flew over Jordanian air-space on their way to strike Israel. Furthermore, Jordan, in recent years, has actively hindered the Palestinian cause, and openly assisted the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. As a human-being – I cannot sit back and watch this happening. Just as my two English grandfathers joined-up to fight Hitler in the 1940s – and my Chinese grandfather fought the Imperial Japanese in Hong Kong (during the same era) – I cannot remain silent in the face os such injustices. I hate the fact that the British Army is assisting the Neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine – and that the RAF has been routinely bombing poor and dispossessed Arab and Persian people over the last ten-years – breaks my heart! During the Battle of Britain – the brave RAF suffered thousands upon thousands of casualties defeating the Nazi German Luftwaffe and preventing Hitler’s seaborne invasion of the UK. The UK government even gifted British war aeroplanes to the USSR – and sent British RAF pilots to Moscow during WWII to train Red Airforce Pilots (many of these men later became Marxists on their return). Alexander Werth wrote about this in one of his excellent books. Of course, i have no idea who this young lady (“Hiba Abu Taha” [هبة أبوطه]) is – but I think she is suffering an injustice which I can highlight through this blog. It makes no difference whether this journalist agrees or disagrees with my political views – the point is that I agree with them!
