US Army major to be executed by firing squad

US: Trump Orders “Public Execution” of Army Major! (9.10.2026)

The Army announced this week that the execution would take place at Fort Hood on Dec. 3 after Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in a shooting at the military base in 2009.

Hegseth, speaking to the conservative TV outlet Real America’s Voice on Wednesday, said, “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public.” Officials in the Pentagon clarified Thursday that the execution would be livestreamed and that more details would follow.

The revelation from Hegseth about the public nature of the execution — let alone one as violent as a firing squad — has raised further questions about how the death penalty is carried out in the U.S., especially after the botched lethal injection of Christa Pike in Tennessee.

The manner in which bhikkhus should teach humanity is through the understanding that all examplies of language and culture, regardless of how necessary they may seem, are nevertheless purely “expedient”. The use of language (including translation) must be “precise” and “accurate” so that the Dhamma is correctly transmitted. All language is a “raft” designed to reach the other shore – it serves no other function. If members of the Sangha become “attached” to the prevailing culture from which they emerged – then they are violating the rules contained within the Vinaya Discipline. Congregating around a cultural-bias is one-sided and exclusionary. Narrowing the scope of the Dhamma hinders its enlightening function and distorts its meaning. A bhikkhu is a beggar and not a film star or representative of the culture that gave birth to him. This is not to say that the bhikkhu should reject the culture within which he arose – but at the sametime the bhikkhu should remain “non-attached” to his mind, body, and environment.

Professor Colin Pillinger was the driving force behind a mini “British Space Programme” that would have rivelled the Soviet imitative – and defied the US domination of the time (2003). We were staying with my parents in Torquay during the Xmas season of 2003 – and we kept the radio on through the night to listen to live coverage – to be part of the “British” probe landing on Mars! As Beagle 2 approached Mars all was fine – but as it came down to land – all suddenly went “silent”. For months afterwards there was speculation – but no answers. Then, in 2014, a US probe discovered a partly “landed” Beagle 2 – which seemed to have deployed – but only after trapping its only aerial (preventing all communication). Professor Colin Pillinger had passed-away just 8-months before his space-machine was discovered – and proven to have been mostly successful. Someone commented to me that this was like “Dunkirk” all-over again! We can take it.

Donald worked as landscape gardener before suffering from a stroke and later contracting Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick.

He said a locum neurologist referred him to a specialist clinic in another south of Scotland health board, but he was rejected because he didn’t live in the right area.

“We don’t have a national health service, we’ve got a regional health service,” he said.

“I’m just left in limbo, unable to work and unable to get better, even though I know there’s a solution out there.”

Another section of the report highlighted the plight of one woman trying to find the right health care for her husband.

But she found navigating services for the former soldier to be “impossible”.

Well, as I grew-up practicing martial arts, I became adept at deliberately clashing with Neo-Nazis and fascists – giving them a good beating that broke their noses, teeth and hearts. The few bruises I received in return were worth cost. I enjoy fighting and am a member of the far-left (I have also been a Buddhist monk). I believe in militant peace where the balance of nature is retained through inner and outer discipline. Most far-right thugs I have encountered are riddled with fear – even those who train in boxing or whatever. Get past the surface bluster and they crap themselves. Those on the left must practice martial arts for self-defence and continue the grand tradition of the “Red Army”. We must defend ourselves and one another from far-right violence. To be clear, I do not agree with – or advocate – violence. However, just as long as violence exists within society that targets “us” – we must be prepared to defend ourselves from it. Our minds must be “still” and “quiet” whilst our bodies must be “fit” and “strong”. We must psychologically undermine the far-right so that its physicality is merely a “husk” that can be smashed and pushed aside. We must inwardly defeat the far-right before we are able to decively defeat it outwardly.
