Red Flag over Torbay – When the Dust Settles

The masses of people who live on housing estates of Torbay are hidden away from the view of the tourists on the seafront, and live in abject poverty. As they have no voice – they appear not to exist. This non-existence is designed to keep a stock of potential workers handy should the need arise – whilst simultaneously preventing them from gaining an education and accessing adequate employment and political power. Although there are obviously more workers in Torbay than the bourgeoisie (i.e. middle class), they appear not to exist because they lack any means to access the bourgeois system.

The Disturbing Case of UKIP on the Torbay Anti-Austerity March

I was dismayed to see a UKIP representative on the Torbay march. I was even more disappointed that he was not asked to leave, or that other people on the march (all predominately ‘white’) were either indifferent to his malignant presence, or worse still actually engaged him in jolly banter as he filmed and photographed other members of the group to upload on the numerous neo-Nazi websites administered by UKIP.

International Brigade Commemoration – London – 4.7.15

Despite the sacrifice of thousands of these selfless people – the war was eventually lost – but it set the stage for WWII and the ultimate crushing of Nazism. Prominent speakers at the commemoration talked today of the upsurge in far-right activity in Eastern Europe – referring to the UK and USA-backed neo-Nazi regime in Eastern Ukraine and elsewhere. In these tainted countries – memorials to the International Brigades are being destroyed, and monuments to Nazi war criminals raised in their place. This is the ‘new’ fascism that all like minded people must come together and oppose.

Anti-Austerity March – London – 20.6.15

On top of this, the ordinary people in the UK – by far the majority – are experiencing their quality of life diminishing along with their life expectancy. The minority rich are getting richer whilst the majority poor and ordinary are being slowly but deliberately deprived of dignity and life – tis is why we marched through London today with 250,000 other people!
