The study, published in Nature, introduced a three-dimensional optical fibre gripper that can manipulate opaque particles, irregular micromechanical components and diverse single-cell types. By controlling light input, the microgripper can open, close and adjust its gripping force. Experiments showed it can generate forces more than 100,000 times greater than conventional optical tweezers, enabling high-precision manipulation, microstructure assembly and microscale sampling.
Although I have read about this in Western sources, and I assume it to be true, I have never found any evidence (as yet) in the Soviet Archives. I am, however, assured that these events did take place. The camera angle for the Harpo clip is incredibly limited – as if the camera-operator was not permitted to film anyone else – or the original clip has been edited. After-all, Roosevelt was forced to pass a disclosure law in 1940 which saw the Communist Party of the US “withdraw” from the “Third Communist International” – a huge blow to World Communism at the time and a major contributing factor to the Third International being dissolved in 1943 (as half the world was trying to destroy the USSR at the time). When faced with the continuous barrier of bourgeois lies and deception – we must advance our own proletariat research inch by inch. I find it interesting that the Marx family was good friends with Charlie Chaplain – which might give you a hint of their political leanings (the US government expelled Charlie Chaplain and stole $20 million of his own money in 1952 – because he was far-left – and a personal friend of Ho Chi Minh).
To round it all off – the reactionary religions weigh-in with their general support of the bourgeoisie and its greed-orientated capitalist system. Meanwhile, many of us who have “ingested” the play-book of the bourgeoise start to act-out its requirements in the physical world. When one side attacks the other – the State unleashes the judiciary to further punish these victims of manipulation. The media then reports the trials as a form of entertainment – and the resulting sentences as a form of religious retribution. Working-class self-education is the only way out of this situation. We must uproot greed, hatred, and delusion and work toward our own inner and outer well-being. Remember – the prevailing narratives (as entertaining as they are) – are AL false and have no bearing in reality. It is all about “power” and securing its contination.
Laos is a small country in South-East Asia that was one of the most bombed country in history as the the US believed that the North Vietnamese (and Vietcong) were receiving supplies via the Ho Chi Minh Trail – from China and the USSR. This satuation bombing was worse than any bombing experienced during WWII. The Laotian people are Buddhist and only became free (after a Socialist Revolution) in 1975 after the US Forces were defeated and withdrew from Vietnam (technically, the US left in 1973 – but the US-controlled puppet “Army of the Republic of Vietnam” (ARVN) – did not surrender until 1975). It is interesting that although modern Russia is capitalist, nationalist, and quite often racist in its rhetoric, the non-White Socialist countries are fully supportive. This just goes to show how complex the dialectical situation is in the world today. The rightwing bourgeoisie of the West is in conflict with the left-leaning bourgeoise in Russia (bizarrely, whilst generally denigrating the history of the USSR – many Russian intellectuals claim that there is “no bourgeosie” in Russia).
The U.S., which had expressed its plan to reorganize the U.S. forces in the ROK into the “strategic task force” and “regional expeditionary force” since 2004, reached an agreement with the ROK on “strategic flexibility” of the U.S. forces in the ROK in January 2006, and in the 2010 Defense Department report, it clarified for the first time that the U.S. forces in the ROK could be dispatched to other regions according to the principle of “strategic flexibility”.
Recently, it more openly advocated the “modernization of the U.S.-ROK alliance” talking about “bolstering up conventional deterrent against all threats in the region” and “ensuring peace and security in the Taiwan Strait” at the 57th U.S.-ROK annual security consultative meeting in November last year. And in the National Security Strategy Report in December that year, it stressed the need for the regional allies including the ROK to increase the defence expenditure with the main emphasis on strengthening the capabilities needed for containing hostile countries and protecting the “first island chain”.
However, after she appeared in an interview wearing a pair of earrings, she became the target of groundless online attacks. Some users speculated that the jewelry weighed as much as 100 grams and posted disparaging comments, including claims that “ordinary rural women can’t afford gold earrings” and that “she would be more touching if she donated the earrings.” The ministry said such remarks disrupted the atmosphere surrounding disaster-relief efforts.
Cyber police quickly identified 15 instances of online abuse and took action, the statement said. Administrative penalties were imposed on several online users under Chinese law, including a 44-year-old man surnamed Qin and a 45-year-old man surnamed Wei.
