Recall that British soldiers Sean Pinner and Aidan Aslin, who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, surrendered in Mariupol in mid-April. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the DPR opened a criminal case against them, they face the death penalty.
The GKP filed an urgent Appeal against this obvious attack upon the International Working-Class – but this Appeal was ‘Denied’ when heard by the Administrative Court of Berlin and the Higher Administrative Court. The reasons given for these decisions were purely arbitrary and outrageous! The Berlin Authorities declared the Soviet Red Flag (which carries a ‘Hammer and Sickle’) to be a ‘fascist’ symbol (but would not permit a ‘discussion’ as to WHY they thought this) – and declared the Soviet Red Army as being a vehicle for tyranny, oppression and persecution (no discussion was allowed explaining the Red Army ‘Liberation’ of the Nazi German Death Camps)! As the ‘modern’ Russian Army still carries this Red Flag – the Berlin Courts Ruled – this flag can no longer be carried (or displayed) ‘legally’ in public!
