Soviet History: The Embalming of Lenin’s Body – Fact and Fiction (1924)

He looked the part and put his money where his mouth was – which is an ironic observation for a Socialist great leader of humanity who had absolutely no interest in amassing of personal wealth (as is normal for his capitalist counter-parts). Part of the US-led demonisation of Joseph Stalin (for which there is no reliable objective evidence) exists to sully his good name amongst the working-class and turn their affections toward the traitor Leon Trotsky (a collaborator with fascism and supporter of the capitalist status quo). Modern Russia, today, as a bourgeois (capitalist) country now allows this typical of hypocritical debate prevalent in the West. This means that the ‘true’ (verifiable) narrative of Soviet history is presented alongside the false narratives of Trotskyism and US anti-intellectualism – as if the latter two categories are of ‘equal historical worth’ to the first (and only) ‘legitimate’ category. In other words, fact and fiction compete for influence and deliberate ‘lying’ is accepted as a legitimate means of historical interpretation and understanding. The point of this ‘process’ is to ‘disinform’ the masses and generate a ‘false’ impression about Soviet history. To remedy this, I have carefully read through and assessed a number of Russian-language texts – and translated the relevant extracts into reliable English.

Bulgaria Myth Perspective

Bulgaria: The ‘Revival Process’ Myth [1984-1989] (6,7,2020)

This has been part of a Turkic ‘Islamo-fascist’ offensive which has seen a ‘pan-Turkish’ nationalism advocating the ‘supremacy’ of the Turkish race and Turkish religion (this is sometimes seen operating in the terrorist attacks carried-out by Uyghurs in China). One ridiculous US-Turkish allegation is that the Bulgarian government ‘forcibly’ tried to inflict Bulgarian names upon ethnic Turks between 1985 – 1989. From a Socialist point of view, this makes no sense whatsoever.  This is so ludicrous that even Wikimedia (which usually has no problems publishing all kinds of US disinformation and anti-intellectualism), has ‘drawn the line’ at the at the ‘Revival Process’ myth and removed the relevant page to a ‘discussion’ section stating that there is a problem with authentication and objectivity! At least this is the case in the Bulgarian-language pages of Wikipedia- which are a mine-field of neo-Nazi glorification, US Disinformation, US anti-intellectualism, US pseudo-history and plain lies. The Turkic people were never oppressed in Socialist Bulgaria (and forced to change their names), but Turkish fascism spreading from Turkey, may have caused minor problems from time to time.

Two Catholic Nuns Discovered in Embrace!

Brazil: Grave Discovered [in 2008] of Two Catholic Nuns in Loving Embrace! (20.12.2019)

Sergio Monteiro da Silva of the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at the University of Sao Paulo, who took part in the excavations, does not believe the nuns were buried together.

“The second nun probably died years later and, during the burial, the first was pushed to the back,” he told the Folha de Sao Paulo.

Mr da Silva said the mummification process had probably happened naturally thanks to good ventilation and low humidity.

“There are no indications that the nuns were mummified,” he told Globo News.

Tests have been done on the bodies and archive research is being carried out to try to identify them. Ms Marino said she hoped the public would be able to view the bodies later this year.

Mr Pol Pot - Hero

KAMPUCHEA: POL POT’S NAME WRITTEN IN THE CHINESE LANGUAGE! (6.6.2019)

Within the Khmer language the name ‘Pol Pot’ is written as ‘ប៉ុល ពត’, with the Chinese language ideograms suggesting the meaning of a ‘Bull-like Individual Who Delivers a Special Message with the Force of a Wave (hitting the shore)’. I intend to carefully research this subject and move through its terrain very carefully, with the idea that this research will encourage others to think for themselves and not accept the rather lazy mainstream narratives at face-value. As usual I reject a priori the bourgeois interpretations as being bias and unreliable, whilst seeking to establish facts from primary Chinese language (and other) sources. There is no need to ‘defend’ this method as it is nothing other than good academic practice.

Multicultural CSA

Respecting the Multicultural Confederate States of America [CSA]! (28.5.2019)

Furthermore, far from being a White racist nightmare, the Confederate States recruited tens of thousands of Native Americans, Chinese and African-American men into the Confederate Army. The history of the CSA is slowly being re-written and this is exactly the same corrective process that the US must apply to the warped historical narratives applied to the USSR and Communism in general. I can’t help but feel that the USSR would have supported the agricultural CSA in its battle against the industrialized North, and in so doing harness and encourage all its progressive forces into forming a Socialist State with all people being equal before the law, and a widespread education and employment programme initiated to facilitate the transition from slavery to free person.  As matters transpired, Jefferson Davis could not be tried for treason simply because every legal team sent to convict him stated that legally he was in the right and that if a trial went ahead, it would be Lincoln who would be revealed as starting an illegal war of aggression that cost the lives of around 800,000 Americans!

Torquay: King’s Gardens – Opened 1904 (Visited 14.4.2019)

King’s Gardens appears to have been the result of slum clearing in Torquay with a place called ‘Rotton Row’ being demolished for new houses (King’s Drive) in 1877. We only hope that the people once living in ‘Rotton Row’ were re-housed and not left homeless (as happens far too often today). Originally called ‘Alexandra Gardens’, it was re-named just after opening in 1904 as ‘King’s Gardens’ after Edward VII. When driving into Torquay on numerous of our visits from London, we have often seen free-roaming swans on a patch of ornate and picturesque landscape to the right of Abbey Grounds (separated by a small road). We finally got round to visiting this area yesterday – despite the howling wind and freezing rain! We did try to ‘walk’ from the house to this area, but the waves were coming over the wall and we had to retreat to the safety of the car and slowly drive through the storm of rain and sea-spray… The children – who are strong-willed and usually wanting to press-on – decided that a tactical retreat to the relative safety of the car was in order!
