Our heart and mind turn to the giant of America, Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, whose work changed the history not only of Cuba but also of Latin America and the Caribbean. Fidel forged the era of new independence and revolution, demonstrating the strength and relevance that only great leaders possess. His light, along with that of Commander Chávez, is today guiding the struggles of the peoples of the world.
Fidel bequeathed us a fundamental concept: the ability to turn adversities into struggle and victory, and to transform victories into opportunities for progress. Despite countless campaigns of discredit and attempts to harm him physically and morally, his indomitable spirit prevailed.
Commander Chávez saw him as a father, and together they united their experiences to take the original project of Bolívar and Martí to a higher level, which today we reclaim as the invincible banner of our nations.
Nine years after his passing, Fidel’s idea of humanity and indestructible purpose live on and are present in every action we undertake. We reclaim his loyalty and example to form new generations of rebels, independent and revolutionary. With Fidel in our hearts, we continue from battle to battle, advancing toward victory.

Nuestro corazón y nuestra mente se dirigen al gigante de América, Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, cuya obra cambió la historia no solo de Cuba, sino también de América Latina y el Caribe. Fidel forjó la era de la nueva independencia y de la revolución, demostrando la fuerza y la vigencia que solo tienen los grandes líderes. Su luz, junto a la del Comandante Chávez, está hoy guiando las luchas de los pueblos del mundo.
Fidel nos legó un concepto fundamental: la capacidad de convertir las adversidades en lucha y victoria, y transformar las victorias en oportunidades de avance. Pese a las incontables campañas de desprestigio e intentos por dañarlo física y moralmente, su espíritu indomable prevaleció.
El Comandante Chávez lo vio como un padre y juntos unieron sus experiencias para llevar a un nivel superior el proyecto original de Bolívar y Martí, que hoy reivindicamos como la bandera invencible de nuestras naciones.
A nueve años de su siembra, la idea de humanidad y el propósito indestructible de Fidel viven y están presentes en cada acción que emprendemos.
