China: “Ugly Wife Court Case” – is the “Husband Feng Jian [冯健]” Story “True” or “False”? (13.11.2025)

Translator’s Note: Every so often, the far-right websites in the West regurgitate any form of anti-Chinese racism they can get their grubby little hands upon. Today, for instance, a real news story broke (one I have heard before) revealing more evidence suggesting Israelis are “organ harvesting” from their Palestinian prisoners. The far-right reported this properly – but then equated this “real” crime with the “imagined” nonsense that the Chinese do this to the Uyghars (working on the false assumption that as both groups are “Islamic” – this atrocity must be happening to each). This is ironic, as outside of this cosy and highly selective “love-in” between the far-right and Islam – the modern far-right firmly pursues an Islamophobic rhetoric outside of the Gaza-issue – having no love whatsoever for either Muslims or Islam (despite Hitler possessing a positive attitude toward Islam – a fact which led to the UK and USSR successfully invading and occupying Iran in 1941. This stopped thousands of Persian men joining a special “SS” Regiment within the Nazi German Army – whilst the Mufti of Palestine drank tea with Hitler in Berlin).

A few days ago I was approached regardinng the following disturbing story that is currently being shared on Western social media – discussing whether this story is true or not? Having examined the available Chinese language sources online – it does seem that this story might be true – but I have my doubts (looks can be deceiving). It seems that it dates back to late 2012 – but every so often (even in China) – it is re-printed with elaborations and revelations which are not found in the original story (one Chinese-language version even claims this event took place in “2015” – when there are far earlier versions). I did read in the comments section beneath one version that the family involved are in fact “Korean-Chinese” – and this is why the woman involved paid for her plastic surgery to be carried-out in South Korea (this seems logical considering the supposed facts of the story – but remains hearsay nonetheless).

My instincts are that this is a “fake” story – as it opposes the Socialist laws covering equality and those supporting the rights of women and girls. Just in case there is some truth to it – I have included a number of Chinese language versions (as well as a Youku news article) – proving this story has longevity and comes around every so often – just like Hailey’s Comet. Usually, the Chinese State “removes” all fake news – but here is my doubt – as the Chinese State has not carried-out this action – there remains the possibility that this story is true. Here is my personal opinion on the matter – It is disgusting that a woman and/or a child could be considered “ugly” by a People’s Court in China – as this is a body-fascist attitude that runs contrary to all Socialist ideology that underpins non-discriminatory PRC law. The Youku video has “Anhui” appended to it – but most articles do not give a location – again – this is suspicious. Meanwhile, Chinese AI (Baidu) suggests that this story unfolded during 2018 and occurred in Jiangsu! ACW (13.11.2025)

Big River News – 12-11-4 08:31

Feng Jian took his wife to court to apply for divorce on the grounds that his wife was too ugly, and what was even more bizarre was that he also won the lawsuit and received 750,000 yuan in compensation. Mr. Feng said that he questioned his wife’s appearance after his daughter was born—- and his daughter was incredibly ugly. In the face of the accusations, Feng’s wife admitted that she had spent about 600,000 yuan on plastic surgery.
