The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirms that the report issued by the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on the Palestinian Territories, despite the importance of the evidence it contains of the Zionist Occupation committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip, and its responsibility for numerous violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law, is ultimately unfair and biased towards the Occupation.
Some of what was included in the report is consistent with the lies of the occupation, equates the victim with the executioner, and is consistent with the allegations that the resistance committed violations on October 7th, 2023 which were proven false by the admission of international newspapers, international organizations, and even by voices from within the entity.
The committee based its report and positions on what happened on October 7th, even though the essence of the crisis did not begin on this date, but rather the crisis has been continuing for 76 years. The report also forgot the root causes of the conflict, and ignored the legitimacy of our people’s resistance to the occupation in various forms, and that the October 7th Operation It was a natural episode of our people’s legitimate resistance against the occupation.
The Front believes that this report did not constitute an important addition to previous UN reports, especially the reports issued by the International Court of Justice, but rather constituted a regression on some issues in clear courtesy to the occupation.
The importance of any UN decisions taken regarding the ongoing Zionist war of genocide against our people stems from their ability to transform any proven condemnations of the Occupation into executive decisions capable of stopping the aggression, and describing the reality in the occupied Palestinian territories as it is without bias or courtesy to the occupation, or Not yielding to American dictates and pressures to obscure any UN decision with the aim of escaping the enemy from punishment.

الجبهة الشعبية: التقرير الصادر عن لجنة التحقيق الأممية منحاز وغير نزيه وساوى بين الضحية والجلاد

تؤكد الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أن التقرير الصادر عن لجنة التحقيق الأممية حول الأراضي الفلسطينية رغم أهمية ما تضمنه من إثباتات لارتكاب الاحتلال جرائم حرب في قطاع غزة، ومسؤوليته عن انتهاكات عديدة للقانون الدولي الإنساني، وقانون حقوق الإنسان، غير أنه بالمحصلة غير نزيه ومنحاز للاحتلال.
إن بعض ما تضمنه التقرير يتماهى مع أكاذيب الاحتلال، ويساوي بين الضحية والجلاد، وينساق مع مزاعم ارتكاب المقاومة تجاوزات يوم السابع من أكتوبر، التي ثبت كذبها باعتراف صحف دولية، ومنظمات أممية وحتى من قبل أصوات من داخل الكيان.
لقد بنت اللجنة تقريرها ومواقفها على ما حدث يوم السابع من أكتوبر، رغم أن جوهر الأزمة لم يبدأ في هذا التاريخ بل الأزمة مستمرة منذ 76 عاماً، كما نسي التقرير الأسباب الجذرية للصراع، وتجاهل مشروعية قيام شعبنا بمقاومة الاحتلال بمختلف الأشكال، وأن عملية السابع من أكتوبر كانت حلقة طبيعية من حلقات مقاومة شعبنا المشروعة ضد الاحتلال.
ترى الجبهة أن هذا التقرير لم يُشكّل إضافة مهمة إلى جانب التقارير الأممية السابقة بالخصوص، خاصة التقارير الصادرة عن محكمة العدل الدولية، بل شكَلّ تراجعًا في بعض القضايا في مجاملة واضحة للاحتلال.
إن أهمية أي قرارات أممية تتُخذ تجاه ما يجري من حرب إبادة صهيونية ضد شعبنا تنبع من قدرتها على تحويل أي إدانات مثبتة للاحتلال إلى قرارات تنفيذية قادرة على وقف العدوان، وعلى توصيف الواقع في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة كما هو على حقيقته دون انحياز أو مجاملة للاحتلال، أو عدم الرضوخ للإملاءات والضغوط الأمريكية لتبهيت أي قرار أممي بهدف إفلات العدو من العقاب.
