Media Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon
A statement was issued by the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas – which states:
At a time when the criminal Zionist Occupation Army continues its fascist war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip – the fascist government of terrorism has unleashed herds of directed terrorist Settlers to attack Palestinian villages and towns in the West Bank. Today’s Settler Militia attack on the town of Al-Mughayir, Northeast of the city of Ramallah, resulted in the martyrdom of a Palestinian citizen, the wounding of dozens, the burning of a number of citizens’ homes and vehicles, and the destruction of their property.
These organized and escalating attacks, which are carried out under the protection of the Zionist Army, and under the direct guidance of extremist Settler government ministers. It falls within the context of the Occupation’s frantic endeavour to seize more West Bank lands, Judaize them, and expel their owners from them – under the weight of intimidation, murder, massacres, and international inaction to stop these ongoing crimes.
As we call on our people and our Revolutionary Youth in the Occupied West Bank to rise up and confront the terrorism of the fascist Settlers, and to continue clashing with this enemy who only understands the language of force. We call on the international community and the United Nations to meet their responsibilities and take urgent action to stop what our people are being subjected to in the West Bank. The Occupied Territories suffer from crimes and violations at the hands of the Zionist Occupation Army and its Settler Militias.

صدر بيان عن حركة المقاومة الإسلامية- حماس، جاء فيه:
في الوقت الذي يواصل فيه جيش الاحتلال الصهيوني المجرم حرب الإبادة ضد شعبنا الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة؛ تُطلق حكومة الإرهاب الفاشيّة العنان لقطعان المستوطنين الإرهابيين، لمهاجمة القرى والبلدات الفلسطينية في الضفة الغربية، حيث أسفر هجوم ميليشيات المستوطنين اليوم على بلدة المغير، شمال شرق مدينة رام الله، عن استشهاد مواطن فلسطيني، وجرح العشرات، وإحراق عدد من منازل ومركبات المواطنين، وتخريب ممتلكاتهم.
إن هذه الهجمات المنظمّة والمتصاعدة، التي يتم تنفيذها تحت حماية الجيش الصهيوني، وبتوجيه مباشر من وزراء حكومة المستوطنين المتطرّفين؛ تندرج في سياق سعي الاحتلال المحموم للاستيلاء على مزيد من أراضي الضفة، وتهويدها، وطرد أصحابها منها، تحت وطأة الترهيب والقتل والمجازر، والتراخي الدولي عن وقف هذه الجرائم المستمرة.
إننا إذ ندعو شعبنا وشبابنا الثائر في الضفة المحتلة إلى الانتفاض والتصدي لإرهاب المستوطنين الفاشيين، والاستمرار في الاشتباك مع هذا العدو الذي لا يفهم إلا لغة القوة، فإننا نطالب المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة، بالوقوف عند مسؤولياتهم، والتحرك العاجل لوقف ما يتعرض له أهلنا في الضفة الغربية المحتلة من جرائم وانتهاكات على يد جيش الاحتلال ومليشيات مستوطنيه.
