After days of reconnaissance manoeuvres on several axes in the Gaza Strip, the forces of the Occupation Army began a large-scale “Ground Invasion” of the Strip. The Occupation Army published the “Operations Order” issued by the Commander of the Ground Forces in the General Staff, which included, in addition to words of motivation, talk about “fighting in the streets, tunnels and alleys,” and “To confront the men of the Palestinian Resistance”, while a group of Palestinian Freedom Fighters witnessed widespread movements of military vehicles of the Occupation Army – supported by air and artillery-fire cover.
▪︎ The ground movement and announcement of the beginning of the third phase of the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip demonstrates the Zionist War Council’s commitment to moving forward with the aggressive operational plans against Gaza, until the Prime Minister of the Occupying Entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, (and his team) obtain a vision of “victory” that he can “sell” to his audience.
▪︎ Despite the Occupation’s awareness of the magnitude of the risks resulting from a land adventure in the Gaza Strip, the amount of psychological and moral preparation carried out on the home-front cultivating Zionist public- opinion, rhetorically thirsty for Palestinian blood and revenge throughout the Gaza Strip, made it impossible to retreat from carrying out the Operation.
▪︎ The Occupation engaged in a strategic “Deception Operation” over the course of days about retreating from a “Ground Invasion”, disputing it within the War Council, or leaking the existence of a supposed US request to “Stop the Operation”, with the aim of creating a state of relaxation among the Palestinian Resistance whilst reducing the level of (Anti-Zionist) preparation throughout the Gaza Strip.
▪︎ The Occupation gradually moved Ground Forces over the days preceding the Operation for several goals, including reconnaissance and operations. However, the psychological goal of breaking the barrier of fear and overcoming the problem of “Phobia Against Courage” among the Occupation soldiers formed an essential part of the Preparatory Operations.
▪︎ The Occupation did not announce the launch of the Ground Operation with media momentum, nor did it engage in any type of propaganda, in order to avoid bearing the effects of operational failure on the one hand, and to avoid provoking reactions, especially among the components of the (Anti-Zionist) Axis of Resistance, for which the Occupation estimates that announcing the Ground Operation will motivate it to increase the volume of self-defence attacks from many other fronts and arenas.
▪︎ The Occupation chose to move on land through limited pathways of access protected by heavy fire-cover throughout the early days of the war. These pathways of access are known to be security-related lands, since the majority of these area are heavily populated and strongly contested open spaces – requiring a large fire-power to facilitate movement through them.
▪︎ The Occupation is trying to encroach upon West Gaza by moving in two directions, from the Northwest and the Southwest, avoiding contact by removing population centres – creating a false image of victory by reaching the heart of Gaza supposedly unopposed.
▪︎ The failure of the plan to evacuate the South Gaza and North Gaza governorates constituted the main dilemma that created an operational reality in which the Occupation was forced to move along heavily contested paths, whilst failing to bypass large population centres. This explains the extensive massacres carried out in the Jabalia and Al-Shati Concentration Camps during Zionist attempts to empty these Palestinian population centres.
▪︎ No movement of the Occupation Forces succeeded in advancing through any contested pathway in the densely populated areas – as attempts to advance through Beit Hanoun, as well as East of Jabalia – all failed. The same is true regarding Zionist attempts to advance East of Shuja’iyya, Al-Zaytoun, and East of Bureij.
▪︎ A huge price was paid by the Zionists on the first day of the broad Ground Operation, which was confirmed by the Zionist Minister of Defense, Yoav Galant, and the announcements from the Palestinian Resistance. The high Zionist casualties were caused by well-position, timed, and placed multiple targeting scenarios (and selective ambushing) effectively carried out by the Palestinian Resistance. The reality of high Zionist casualties resulting in little or no tangible gain will constitute a major determinant in the size and duration of the Ground Operation.
▪︎ “Netanyahu” and his team are looking to achieve a “false” or “hollow” image of victory, which means that the Occupation Army will pump a lot of materials into the area in the coming days, claiming record achievements by controlling some sites belonging to the Resistance – knowing that many of these sites are located on border areas with access does not constituting a problem. Such “empty” claims possess no significant operational achievement.
▪︎ The nature of “Defensive Resistance” operations reflects good readiness to deal with ground movement scenarios, and lures the Occupation into costly ambushes without being drawn into the Occupation’s attempts to pull the Resistance into open areas and turn these men and women into easy targets for Zionist warplanes.
▪︎ The Resistance’s use of effective tools (of local manufacture) in targeting the Occupation’s vehicles and tanks – constitutes an important factor in turning said vehicles into death traps and places of terrible attrition for the Occupation Army. The density of Zionist armour is being easily targeted and destroyed using simple anti-tank weapons, whether Multi-Headed Missiles or Commando Bombs. With such destructive tactics, the Resistance does not need to risk a direct confrontation in the open. As matters stand, the Zionist Occupation Army is suffering high levels of physical and material damage.
In Conclusion:
The start of the large-scale Ground Operation constitutes a new phase of the war on Gaza. There is no doubt that the Occupation will not hesitate to continue and even expand its crimes against the people of the Gaza Strip. However, it will constitute the beginning of an epic fight for the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip, which has prepared for many scenarios. Defensive forces over the years have dealt effectively with numerous Occupation attempts to storm the Gaza Strip by land – or attempt to reoccupy it – all involving the Occupation Army suffering severe losses, both on the human and equipment levels. This reality will constitute the primary factor in determining the size and duration of the Occupation Army’s ground manoeuvre, and the extent of its success in achieving its goals, despite the extensive technological and political support the Zionists receive from their numerous international (and Arab) allies. A ground intervention in the Gaza Strip, however, does not constitute a source of consensus at several levels, whether within the Occupying Entity or in the regional and international arenas. This fact may also constitute a motivating factor for further movement by the Resistance in the region for more serious and influential involvement. In the fighting across other arenas, the official announcement by the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces regarding carrying out attacks and continuing to carry out attacks in the future – represents a prelude to larger movements, the features of which may be determined by an upcoming speech of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

بعد أيام من المناورات الاستطلاعية على عدة محاور في قطاع غزة، بدأت قواتُ جيشِ الاحتلالِ الغزوَ البريَّ الواسعَ للقطاع، وقد نَشرَ جيشُ الاحتلالِ أمْرَ العملياتِ الصادرَ عن قائد القوات البرية في هيئة الأركان، والذي حَملَ إلى جانب كلماتِ التحفيزِ الحديثَ عن “القتال في الشوارع والأنفاق والأزقة” لمواجهة رجال المقاومة الفلسطينية، فيما شَهدَت مجموعةٌ من المَحاور تحركاتٍ واسعةً للآليات العسكرية لجيش الاحتلال، يصاحبها غطاء ناري جوي ومدفعي.
▪︎ يَحمل التحركُ البريُّ والإعلانُ عن بداية المرحلة الثالثة من الحرب العدوانية على قطاع غزة تمسُّكَ مجلس الحرب الصهيوني بالمضي قدمًا في الخطط العملياتية العدوانية ضد غزة، حتى حصول رئيس وزراء كيان الاحتلال، “بنيامين نتنياهو” وفريقه على صورة “نصر” يقدِّمها إلى جمهوره.
▪︎ على الرغم من إدراك الاحتلال حجمَ المَخاطر المترتبة على المغامَرة البرية في قطاع غزة، فإن حجم التهيئة النفسية والمعنوية التي أُجرِيَت للجبهة الداخلية والرأي العام الصهيوني، المتعطش للدماء الفلسطينية والانتقام من قطاع غزة، جَعلَت من التراجُع عن خوض العملية أمرًا مستحيلًا.
▪︎ خاض الاحتلال عمليةَ خداعٍ استراتيجيٍّ على مدار أيام حول التراجع عن الغزو البري، والخلاف عليها داخل مجلس الحرب، أو تسريب وجود طلب أمريكي بإيقاف العملية، وذلك بهدف إحداث حالة من الاسترخاء لدى المقاومة، وتخفيف حجم الاستعداد للخطوة.
▪︎ تدرَّجَ الاحتلال في التحرك البري على مدار أيام سَبقَت العمليةَ لعدة أهداف، منها استطلاعي وعملياتي، إلا أن الهدف النفساني لكسر حاجز الخوف وتجاوُز مشكلة “رهاب الشجاعية” لدى جنود الاحتلال شكَّلَ جزءًا أساسيًّا من العمليات التمهيدية.
▪︎ لم يعلِن الاحتلالُ انطلاقَ العملية البرية بزخم إعلامي، ولم يَخُضْ أيَّ نوع من أنواع البروبجندا، وذلك تجنُّبًا لتحمُّل آثار الفشل العملياتي من جهة، وتجنُّب إثارة ردود أفعال خصوصًا لدى مكونات محور المقاومة التي يقدِّر الاحتلالُ أن الإعلان عن التحرك البري سيكون محفزًا لها لزيادة حجم هجماتها من جبهات وساحات أخرى
▪︎ اختار الاحتلالُ التحركَ البريَّ في مسارات وانطلاقًا من مَحاور متوقَّعة ارتباطًا بتحليل الغطاء الناري الكثيف على مدار أيام الحرب، وهي مَحاور معروفة بأنها أراضٍ محروقة أمنيًّا، كون المساحة الغالبة منها مساحات فارغة، أسهَمَ التمهيدُ الناريُّ الكبيرُ في تسهيل التحرك فيها.
▪︎ يحاول الاحتلالُ خَلْقَ إطباق على منطقة غرب غزة عبر التحرك من مسارَين، من الشمال الغربي والجنوب الغربي، متجنبًا الالتحامَ مع التجمعات السكانية والالتفاف حولها، لخطف صورة النصر بالوصول إلى قلب غزة.
▪︎ شكَّلَ عدمُ نجاح خطة إخلاء محافظتَي غزة وشمال غزة المعضلةَ الرئيسةَ التي خَلقَت واقعًا عملياتيًّا اضطُّر فيه الاحتلال إلى التحرك عبر المسارات المحروقة متجاوزًا الالتحامَ عبر المربعات السكانية الكبير، وهذا يفسِّر المجازر الكبير في مخيمَي جباليا والشاطئ سعيًا إلى تفريغ المجمعات السكانية الأكبر من سكانها.
▪︎ لم يَنجح أيُّ تحرُّكٍ لآليات الاحتلال في التقدم عبر أي محور في المَحاور ذات الكثافة السكانية، حيث فشلت محاولات التقدم عبر بيت حانون، وكذلك شرق جباليا، والأمر ذاته في محاولات التقدم شرق الشجاعية والزيتون وشرق البريج.
▪︎ إنَّ الثمن الكبير في اليوم الأول للتحرك البري الواسع، والذي تحدث عنه وزير الحرب الصهيوني، “يؤاف غالانت”، وأكدته إعلانات المقاومة عن استهدافات متعددة وكمائن لعدد في مختلف محاور القتال، يعطي إشارةً أوليةً عن العامل الذي سيشكِّل محدِّدًا رئيسيًّا في حجم ومدة العملية البرية.
▪︎ يبحث “نتنياهو” وفريقه عن حصد صورة النصر، ما يعني أن جيش الاحتلال سيعمد إلى ضخ الكثير من المواد في خلال الأيام القادمة يدَّعي فيها تسجيلَ إنجازات بالسيطرة على بعض المواقع التابعة للمقاومة، علمًا بأن العديد من هذه المواقع تقع في مناطق حدودية ولا يُشكِّل الوصولُ إليها أيَّ إنجاز عملياتي يُذكَر.
▪︎ تَعكِس طبيعةُ عملياتِ المقاومةِ الدفاعيةُ الاستعدادَ الجيدَ للتعامل مع سيناريوهات التحرك البري، وتَستدرِج الاحتلالَ إلى كمائنها دُون الانجرار إلى محاولات الاحتلال سحبَها إلى العمل في المناطق المكشوفة وتحويلها إلى أهداف سهلة لطائراته.
▪︎ يُشكِّل تدشينُ المقاومةِ أدواتٍ فعَّالةً في استهداف آليات ودبابات الاحتلال من تصنيع محلي عاملًا مهمًّا في تحويل الآليات إلى مَصائد موت واستنزاف لجيش الاحتلال، حيث كثافة التسليح بمضادات الدروع، سواءٌ القذائف متعددة الرؤوس أو العبوات الفدائية، ما سيحوِّل عملياتِ الالتحامِ المباشرِ مع القوات الغازية إلى عمليات استنزافٍ كبرى لجيش الاحتلال، وسيَرفع من تكلفة التحرك البري كثيرًا.
خلاصة،
يشكِّل البدءُ في العملية البرية الواسعة مرحلةً جديدةً من مَراحل الحرب على غزة، بلا شك لن يتوانى الاحتلال فيها عن المضي بل والتوسيع في جرائمه بحق أهالي قطاع غزة، إلا أنَّها ستُشكِّل مدخلًا لقتال ملحمي للمقاومة الفلسطينية في قطاع غزة، والتي جهَّزَت العديدَ من السيناريوهات الدفاعية على مدار سنوات للتعامل مع محاوَلات الاحتلال اقتحامَ قطاع غزة بريًّا أو محاولة إعادة احتلاله، فيما سيُشكِّل حجمُ خسائر جيش الاحتلال على الصعيد البشري وصعيد المعدات العاملَ الأساسيَّ في تحديد حجم ومدة مناورة جيش الاحتلال البرية، ومدى نجاحها في تحقيق أهدافها، وعلى الرغم من الدعم الكبير الذي تحظى به حكومة الاحتلال دوليًّا وداخليًّا، فإن التدخل البري في القطاع لا يُشكِّل عنوانًا للإجماع في عدة مستويات، سواءٌ في داخل كيان الاحتلال أو في الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، كما أنه قد يُشكِّل عاملًا محفِّزًا للمزيد من التحرك من قوى المقاومة في المنطقة لانخراط أكثر جدية وتأثيرًا في القتال عبر ساحات أخرى، وإنَّ الإعلان الرسمي من المتحدث بِاسم القوات المسلحة اليمنية بشأن تنفيذ هجمات والاستمرار في تنفيذ هجمات مستقبلًا يمثِّل مقدمةً لتحركات أكبر، قد يحدِّد ملامحَها الخطابُ القادمُ للأمين العام لـ”حزب الله”، السيد حسن نصر الله.
