The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) welcomed South Africa’s application to the International Court of Justice to institute proceedings against the Zionist entity for genocide committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The Front once again praised the advanced positions of South Africa taken since the beginning of the aggression, whether through its political and diplomatic steps or its broad popular movement, stressing the need to emulate these positions across all countries of the world that stand by our people, condemn the war of Zionist genocide and take positions different from those countries which collude with these crimes.
The Front concluded the importance of South Africa’s step to put an end to the crimes of Zionist genocide against civilians, health and service facilities and infrastructure, and to try the leaders of the Zionist Occupation as war criminals in International Courts for the unprecedented crimes and massacres it has committed, stressing the need for this trial to include all leaders of countries who provided protection and cover for the Zionist entity, and supported it with money, weapons and political empowerment.

الجبهة الشعبيّة ترحّب برفع جنوب أفريقيا دعوى في محكمة العدل الدولية ضد الكيان الصهيوني لارتكابه إبادة جماعية

دعت الجميع للاقتداء بهذه الخطوة لمحاكمة قادة الاحتلال وكل من تواطأ معهم
رحّبت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين بتقديم جنوب أفريقيا طلب لمحكمة العدل الدولية لإقامة دعوى ضد الكيان الصهيوني لارتكابه أعمال إبادة جماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة.
وأشادت الجبهة مجدداً بالمواقف المتقدمة لجنوب أفريقيا التي اتخذتها منذ بداية العدوان، سواء بخطواتها السياسية والدبلوماسية أو حراكها الشعبي الواسع، مؤكدةً على ضرورة أن يتم الاقتداء بهذه المواقف من جميع دول العالم التي تقف إلى جانب شعبنا، وتنُدد بحرب الإبادة الصهيونية وتتخذ مواقفاً مغايرة لبعض الدول المتورطة والشريكة مع الكيان بهذه الجرائم.
وختمت الجبهة على أهمية خطوة جنوب أفريقيا لوضع حد لجرائم الإبادة الصهيونية بحق المدنيين والمرافق الصحية والخدماتية والبنية التحتية، ومن أجل محاكمة قادة الاحتلال الصهيوني كمجرمي حرب في المحاكم الدولية لما اقترفوه من جرائم ومجازر غير مسبوقة، مشددةً على ضرورة أن تشمل هذه المحاكمة جميع قادة الدول الذين وفروا الحماية والغطاء للكيان الصهيوني، ودعموه بالمال والسلاح والغطاء السياسي.
