Delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine visited the Russian Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, today, Monday, November 13th, 2023. The Delegation included the member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – Marwan Abdel-Al – a high-ranking Official of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, as well as Haitham Abdo, and the Official of the PFLP Political Relations in Lebanon Abdullah Al-Dannan.

During the visit, the Delegation met with His Excellency the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon – Alexander Rudakov – and in the presence of the Russian Deputy Ambassador. The Delegates discussed the situation in Gaza, the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, and the “Israeli” escalation – which targets hospitals, places of worship, women. children, and targets security personnel, schools, and shelter centres for the displaced, media professionals, ambulances, and medical teams, etc.

The attendees also discussed ways to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, bring in food, relief and health materials, and stop the Zionist aggression against Gaza. The PFLP Delegation praised the position of the Russian leadership in support of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.

زار وفد من الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين سفارة روسيا، في العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت، وذلك اليوم الإثنين الموافق في ١٣ تشرين الثاني ٢٠٢٣ وضم الوفد عضو المكتب السياسي للجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين مروان عبد العال، ومسؤول الجبهة الشعبية في لبنان هيثم عبده، ومسؤول العلاقات السياسية للجبهة في لبنان عبد الله الدنان.
خلال الزيارة، التقى الوفد بسعادة السفير الروسي لدى لبنان الكسندر روداكوف، وبحضور نائب السفير الروسي، جرى بحث الأوضاع في غزة، ومعركة طوفان الأقصى والتصعيد “الاسرائيلي”، الذي يستهدف المشافي، ودور العبادة، والأطفال، والنساء، واستهداف الآمنيين، والمدارس ومراكز إيواء النازحين، والإعلاميين، وسيارات الإسعاف، والطواقم الطبية.
كما تباحث المجتمعون حول سبل دعم الشعب الفلسطيني في غزة، وإدخال المواد التموينية والإغاثية والصحية، ووقف العدوان الصهيوني على غزة، وأثنى وفد الجبهة على موقف القيادة الروسية الداعم للقضية الفلسطينية والشعب الفلسطيني
