Making Friends with Matilda 

Josh came to train, 

But only in a dream. 

Matilda came too, 

But only to view. 

Punching and blocking, 

Matilda jumped and barked!  

What else could she do… 

A dog rescued from a park! 

Small, deaf and plump, 

Loyal and little lump. 

She sprang and chewed, 

And then we cuddled bemused!
