One ridiculous US-Turkish allegation is that the Bulgarian government ‘forcibly’ tried to inflict Bulgarian names upon ethnic Turks between 1985 – 1989. At least this is the case in the Bulgarian-language pages of Wikipedia- which are a mine-field of neo-Nazi glorification, US Disinformation, US anti-intellectualism, US pseudo-history and plain lies.
