Whilst the United States (and its Western allies) undertook a massive disinformation and deception campaign against the people of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) after WWII, it is commonplace in the capitalist world to a priori view the Soviet people as ‘inhuman’ or not capable of ordinary human thought and feeling. Of course, this attitude – as deluded as it undoubtedly is – is nothing but anti-Slavic racism, augmented by anti-Asian and anti-Black racism. Just like you and me – the Soviet people were born, grew-up, faced everyday struggles, fell in-love, had children, pursued careers aged and passed away.
