500 Miniature ‘Marx’ Statues Unveiled in Germany to Mark the 195th anniversary of his birth

Porta Nigra (Black Gate) Tier, Germany, 5.5.13. Here, on this day, 500 one meter tall sculptures of the great German political thinker – Karl Marx (1818-1883) – were unveiled by their creator – Ottmar Hoerl – to commemorate the 195^th anniversary of the birth of Marx (2013) in his hometown.

 

Guancha, on the 130^th anniversary of the death of Karl Marx (also 2013), published the commemorative text entitled ‘The 130^th Anniversary of the Death of Marx – Teacher and Discoverer of the Theory of World Revolution’.

 

March 14^th, 2013, was the 130^th anniversary of the death of Karl Marx. One of the Neoclassical Synthesis experts Samuelson – when turning to the subject of Marx – stated, “The words of Karl Marx’ can be used as a motto for all the great masters of political economy: ‘The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways, but the problem is how to change the world’.” This great man – Karl Marx – changed the world from his study and educated the Proletariat – is this not extraordinary?
