As a young child, I used to accompany my father to the Tiverton Cricket Club Home Ground (during all kinds of weather) – situated on the outskirts of Tiverton (near the Rugby Ground) – where he used to cut the grass, ‘roll’ the ground and ‘mark-out’ the pitch! I even have memories of attending one or two ‘Home’ matches – and remember talking to the other team members (including ‘Peter Goldsworthy’ and ‘Pete Townsend’, etc). I also remember that one or two of my father’s friends in the team were attending St Luke’s Sports College (in Exeter) at the time – which meant they were of ‘Professional’ cricketing standard with no one locally realising the situation!

The psychological effect of the French first goal finished the match – such was the devastating and forceful ease (elan) with which it was scored! Everything after this point of the game was a footnote. I know this because I have witnessed this England self-destruct mechanism in action over many, many decades and am now an old hand at assessing this form of spherical self-flagellation! The tragedy is that for much of the game England were by far the better side – but having just watched Morrocco make history by becoming the first ‘African’ nation to make it to the quarterfinals of the World Cup (although not many ‘Black’ Africans are celebrating the progression of a population of Arab invaders occupying an ‘African’ country) – it was odd to see Morrocco fans supporting France! The former ‘colonised’ supporting their ‘colonisers’! If England had scored the numerous chances the players earned (and not ‘missed’ a crucial penalty) – England would now be playing Morrocco in the semi-finals! But then again, the same weaknesses in the English game would still exist and I would probably be sat at this laptop knocking-out a similar article of failure and despair in just a few days’ time – as a jubilant Morrocco march on to the final – probably with Argentina!
FIFA is essentially a bourgeois charity that makes billions – like any good capitalist charity – but the US cannot influence or penetrate its inner workings, and this is why it is attempting to ‘legally’ infiltrate and ‘colonise’ its left-leaning mechanisms – so that it can direct them toward the political right-wing! The US is stating that only countries it agrees with should host the World Cup – and this is the essence of US fascism which we must fight and defeat! Russia in 2018 (anti-Ukrainian Neo-Nazi) and Qatar in 2022 (anti-Israeli Zionism) is all part of a US-plot instigated by FIFA! If only it were! Prior to 1991, the CCCP, and other Communist countries such as East Germany, Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Hungary used to routinely qualify for the World Cup Finals! In England the British working-class took to supporting North Korea during the 1966 (UK) World Cup Finals! They chanted:

Nobody knew exactly what ‘Juche’ and ‘Sorghum’ actually meant – but the general consensus was that it must be better than the misery of living within predatory capitalism!
There are NO protests in China. There does not have to be as the Working-Class of China controls the ‘means of production’ and decides the best policies that serve the ongoing interests of that branch of the International Proletariat! Every Worker in China possesses the right to protest and to strike – these are inherent rights granted to each individual Worker in China since the Socialist Revolution in 1949! The exercising of these rights marks the ongoing success of the 1949 Socialist Revolution and the popularity of the Communist Party of China (CPC) as the agency that safeguards these rights and prevents Bourgeois entities (such as the US) from taking such hard-earned rights away from the masses through their ongoing (and continuous) lying and destructive policies! All is well in China – but not so in the capitalist West – as it has badly miscalculated by supporting a failed Neo-Nazi (NATO) coup in the Ukraine! The US has decided it is time for yet another pointless (and mindless) distracton! Let’s see if this post is ‘ghosted’!
