Experiencing trauma in childhood can lead to a lack of motivation and less pleasure from rewards-or anhedonia-later in life. In humans, childhood trauma is linked to changes in the activity of reward-related brain pathways stemming from an area called the hippocampus. Preclinical work in animals suggests that hippocampal changes may contribute to anhedonia. But do hippocampal changes linked to childhood trauma make people more vulnerable to developing anhedonia? New in JNeurosci, a research team led by Kathleen O’Brien at Temple University and Vishnu Murty at the University of Oregon sought to answer this question.

Herein lies the root contradiction that often leads to a profound shock with many workers suffering PTSD when encountering police officers. And this even before being handcuffed and locked in a cell is experienced. This experience is precisely how a Fascist State operates all the time. The liberals claim their version of society is superior to fascism – but it inflicts a fascist-type law enforcement upon its citizens. This is an interesting contradiction to consider. Liberal democracy possesses very little freedom to chose from in reality – and has the tendency to inflict a fascist-style suppression upon its own population. Should the workers group together and demonstrate solidarity in the face of police oppression – then the Bourgeois State will unleash the military. Whereas the police deprive an individual of freedom (and occasionally of life) – the military always deprives the individual of life. After-all, the bourgeoisie secured its political power by force of arms – and retains its power by force of arms.

They then passed all the tests to gain entry into the Special Forces, flew-out to Venezuela to kill innocent Cubans and Venezuelans – whilst illegally kidnapping a Socialist Head-of-State (and his wife). Meanwhile, the hypocritical capitalist world remained “silent” whilst it continued to fund the atrocities committed by Israel and Neo-Nazi Ukraine. What’s next? Documentaries in ten-year’s time featuring US Veterans who took part in the Venezuelan-raid – now suffering from PTSD and complaining about “how wrong it all was”? Why doesn’t the US produce a generation of young people who “see through” all the brain-washing straight-off the bat? Stop this incestuous obsession with far-right capitalism and distorted religion. Allow other countries to exist – permit the world to breath!

UK: My Grandfather’s WWII PTSD – the Cost of Our Freedom! (9.5.2026)

He trained alongside the Glider-Landed Troops – trained to sit 30 to a wooden glider (a platoon) and crash-land on a military target before deploying (if surviving). Alfred either landed on Sword Beach in the first landing-boats and fought his way (ten-miles) in-land to relieve the British Glider Troops landed in Caen – or he landed in Caen with the Glider Troops and tried to hold the area until relieved by the British Army. Either way (we are not exactly sure – but must assume the former) the German resistance was so intense the first-wave Units were decimated and many of the early objectives were not achieved. My grandfather, when talking about his experiences many years later, described how he had to kill many people as he moved through the French and German countryside. He would fight his way to Hamburg before he was granted rest and leave. It was this killing that negatively affected him psychologically. Indeed, there hundreds of thousands of men in the UK who had to re-integrate into British society and pretend nothing had happened.

In the West this story is reported as a ‘fetish’ because all the women involved are a) ethnically ‘Chinese’ and b) ‘lesbian’ in sexual preference. These three women are not accorded the usual level of respect – or even derision – with which the LGBTQN+ community is usually treated, as they occupy a ‘peculiar’ category all of their own. Finally, what the Western media fails to convey is the fact that Yvonne Wu previously served in the US Army before joining the NYPD – and that she was known by her superiors to be suffering from ‘Depression’ and ‘PTSD’ – whilst still being entrusted with a loaded firearm on a daily basis!

USSR (1941-1945): Guards Colonel – Evdokia Nikolaevna Zavaliy (Евдокия Николаевна Завалий) – “Female” Commander of a Red Marine Platoon! (29.4.2023)

‘The doctors wanted to Commission her – but she refused. After treatment, she was sent to a Reserve Regiment – and when Red Army soldiers were selected for Frontline Duty – Evdokia Zavaliy was mistaken for a man (as she typically wore a tunic and riding breeches – like a “Cavalryman”) with the documents mistakenly reading “Zavaliy Evdok. Nick.”! Evdokia Zavaliy did not dissuade anyone – and was subsequently sent to the 6th Airborne Brigade of the Marine Corps as Zavaliy Evdokim Nikolaevich! This secret was kept for eight months. After a Nazi German Officer was captured (near Mozdok) – a “Promotion” was issued for the Intelligence Department – of which this Ukrainian (Soviet) woman soon became the Commander!”
