World Insights: China’s Sci-Tech Progress Not to be Hammered by Technology Blockade! (14.10.2022)

Up to now, China has established a sci-tech cooperation relationship with more than 160 countries and regions, and joined more than 200 international organizations and multilateral mechanisms.

Thanks to its greater focus on independent innovation and international cooperation, China moved up to the 11th place in the 2022 Global Innovation Index (GII) and firmly remains the only middle-income economy in the top 30, showed the latest ranking published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

“China’s growth (in GII ranking) from 34th ten years ago to 11th (in 2022) … is really spectacular. The close attention paid by the government and the country to innovation as an engine of growth is paying off,” WIPO Director General Daren Tang said at the press launch of GII 2022.

“China nurtures its innovation ecosystem in a holistic, comprehensive manner,” he said.

The modern Russian Army has successfully ‘destroyed’ the highly motivated ‘Hitlerite’ legions of Ukraine (that were ‘primed’ to invade and annex West Russian territory) – but since the election of the far-right Liz Truss in the UK – the Western support for Neo-Nazi Ukraine has placed all its available military capability to the Northeast of the Donbass battlefield – and this ‘refocusing’ has inflicted considerable Russian casualties.

I do not (and never have) supported modern Russian ‘nationalism’ – which contains disturbing elements of bourgeois racism and homophobia, much of it encouraged by the Orthodox Church. It is the same thinking that has Orthodox Icons placed in tanks as they are constructed in the factories – as if these religious objects possess a similar (or greater) power than the anti-missile technology that is also installed – the design of the tanks and technology being ‘Soviet’ in origin and quite often logical developments of this technology brought into the modern day.

This article referenced above ‘inverts’ everything from top to bottom. The authors deliberately manufacture a fairy-tale premised upon fictitious and false assumptions and misleading parameters. The Western-backed Hitlerite take-over of Kyiv in 2014 is omitted and instead the Donbass resistance to Ukrainian Neo-Nazism is portrayed as the progenitor of Neo-Nazism! The expulsion of Western-backed right-wing religion from Donbass and the re-establishment of mainstream religious tolerance is presented as ‘extremism’! Russian self-determinism in Donbass is viewed as ‘racism’, and so on and so forth. What we see here, is in fact a Russian resistance to the forces of Western neo-imperialism – which have always been led by religious and political intolerance! The Russian population in question happens to be in the Ukraine – but again we are having to squeeze bourgeois ideas of ‘race’ and ‘nation’ into the post-Soviet space which was defined by ‘internationalism’ for seventy-four years!

It should be noted that Soleimani was one of the largest and most iconic military and political figures in Iran. He led the elite Quds Force, responsible for military intelligence and special operations outside of Iran itself. In addition, Soleimani has been actively involved in the Syrian conflict, supporting the forces of President Bashar al-Assad. Soleimani visited Moscow four times during 2015-2016, urging Russia to expand its military presence in Syria. Putin has called Soleimani “my friend Kasem” several times. There is evidence that it was Soleimani who pushed the Kremlin to launch a military operation in Syria on the side of the legitimate government.
