Socialist science unleashes (and harnesses) the full three-dimensional creativity of the mind – unhindered by the false and limiting boundaries of profit-led exploitation that defines the bourgeoisie. The bourgeoisie control society by limiting every expression of its creativity – rewarding conformers and punishing rebels. This is why Lenin advised every Soviet citizen to become a scientists sit down in their kitchens and “think”. These thoughts were to be recorded and passed on to the various worker committees for consideration and possible development. This is how the USSR caught the lazy West by surprise with the speed and scope of its scientific development. The West initially hoped that Hitler would destroy this Socialist threat to bourgeois dominance – but when it became clear that Hitler also wanted to destroy the bourgeoisie – then the capitalists changed their minds for a short-time and deceptively sided with the USSR. Churchill hoped that the USSR would be so weakened by fighting Nazi Germany – that the West could then turn on it and finish it off. This is the type of dishonesty that all Socialist regimes experience at the hands of the untrustworthy capitalists. Seeing China push ahead with its Space Programme is pleasing to behold.
