FIFA: Solidarity at Regional Level Crushes Gianni Infantino’s “Pro-Zionist” Plans – Football Will Not Be Sold to Israel! (1.8.2026)

All the ingredients are there for radical left-wing politics – but of course – this collective bargaining power has been used in a very specific manner. In Europe, for instance, an elite top-tier player (before tax) can earn something in the region of £525,000 a week or an annual (yearly) salary of £27,300,000 (even after tax – this is a substantial amount). Obviously, this is not your average worker and the amounts are obscene when you consider a Nurse will yearn around £25,000 a year (after tax). Still, that is the world of predatory capitalism. Amateur (grass-roots) football in England sees eleven men turn-up every weekend and play for 90 minutes – for free. Add to this how expensive ticket prices are to attend Premier League games live (£75 per match on average) or about the same to watch each match on live-TV – and it is clear that the business of football empowers a very small section of the working-class – at the expense of the material well-being of the lumpen-proletariat. I have heard stories told of men out of work spending their dole money not on feeding their families – but instead attending a 90-minute game. The fans fuel the game – but so does business investment – and here in lies the crux of the matter with FIFA. Exploiting the workers to enrich a few workers is just part of the beautiful game. Business does its part as popular players boost brand sales – and brand sales raise the value of popular players. These players are not building time machines, perfecting space travel, or finding a cure for cancer – but are kicking around a ball full of air – as a leisure activity. It has been said that like religion – football is like an opium of the masses – but it does not have to be that way. Ironically, whilst paying for their National Squads, players do not receive their huge domestic salaries (there may be a nominal fee per match – around £2000 – which in the case of England is donated to charity) – although they will obviously benefit from the publicity regarding their ongoing sponsorship deals. It is the profitable association with success and glamour which fuels this lucrative machine. Still, it would appear that Players’ Unions (which have no moral qualms exploiting their fellow working-class) draw the line at openly associating themselves with the murderous regime of Israel and its genocidal policies in Gaza (and elsewhere). good for them. Zionism is racist – just look at how poorly Iran (and other Islamic countries) were treated at the 2026 World Cup!

Telesur: 2030 FIFA World Cup Welcomes First Six Confirmed Nations! (23.7.2026)

The three European hosts -Spain, Portugal and Morocco- will serve as principal organizers of the event, following the co-hosting model applied in the 2026 North American edition. This marks the first World Cup to be held across two confederations simultaneously, and the first in Africa since South Africa 2010.

Morocco will host the tournament for the first time, becoming the second African nation to organize a World Cup. Portugal also debuts as a host country. Spain, meanwhile, returns as organizer after the 1982 edition.

The South American leg pays tribute to the 100-year anniversary of the inaugural World Cup. Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay will host one match each at historic venues: the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo -site of the 1930 final-and the Osvaldo Domínguez Dibb Stadium in Asunción. These three matches will kick off the respective group stage campaigns of each national team before the competition moves entirely to the European and African main venues.

Our Girl Cat Asks "WHY" Is It England Cannot Defend a Lead?

US: FIFA World Cup England 6-4 France – Bronze-Medal Final! (19.7.2026)

Interestingly, this is how Argentina plays – by pushing all their strikers up into the opponent’s half – even substituting midfield and defensive players for even more strikers! England did not go that far – but the effect was similar. If you can dictate the pace and where the game will take place – you can “hide” the weaknesses in your team. Obviously, at half-time, the French coach re-set the approach of the French team – and they came out attacking England’s shaky defence (they got round the back)! We know this worked as they quickly scored “4” goals and put England under intense pressure until substitutions could be made that soldified the formation. Although never drawing equal – it was close – and England had to work hard to score two-more goals! Was Tuchel right to play this England side? Well, probably “yes”. The French could have scored “4” goals against England’s a-team – and England might not have had an answer to any of it! England could have gone 4-0 down and stayed 4-0 down! Instead, an inspired choice of fresh and highly motivated English reserves caught the French totally by surprise! The “4” goals England scored gave a sevurity blanket against the French avalanche – when it came – and come it did! We already had the goals in the bag – but had to work to stop it getting any worse – or throwing away the first-half lead! Many thought that England and France should have been in the final – and were the best two sides. We got our final in the end and can proudly hold our heads up high with a well-earned third-place in the world. One-day, we will regain the top spot in world football – the game England invented!

Real Football is Non-League!

Mexico: Schools for Chiapas – What Football Has United – Let No State Divide! (16.7.2026)

As the count of disappeared already surpasses 133,000, in a show of the Mexican state’s indifference, current President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo mocked, questioned, and criminalized these families’ struggle, at press conferences accusing some of these collectives of receiving funding and answering to the interests of opposition political parties.

While there is no exact figure, organizations like Amnesty International cite more than 200 collectives across the country. In this context, alleging that the movement has been co-opted functions less as fact and more as a vile tactic of delegitimization. President Sheinbaum Pardo seeks to mask a painful reality with the supposed joy that comes from soccer as a capitalist spectacle.

The sheer scope of the violence behind the disappearance crisis can be seen in the range of its victims — among them civilians disappeared by the military alongside members of the armed forces themselves; people presumably linked to the criminal economy, and many more who simply refused to pay extortion fees. “Collateral damage,” a former president once called it. All are searched for equally; no disappearance is justified, and no one deserves to disappear.

Argentina: Milei Unveils Multinational Tour to Bolster Far-Right Alliance with US Interests! (12.7.2026)

Argentinian President Javier Milei on Friday confirmed a sweeping international tour schedule, including stops in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, France, England, and the United States, as he seeks to consolidate a far-right regional alliance aligned with U.S. interests.

Speaking in an interview, Milei specified that on July 25 he will travel to Brazil to back Flavio Bolsonaro’s candidacy, before heading to Brasília for a meeting with former president Jair Bolsonaro.

On July 28, he will proceed to Peru for Keiko Fujimori’s presidential inauguration, followed by Colombia on August 7 for Abelardo de la Espriella’s swearing-in.

A separate visit to Ecuadorian counterpart Daniel Noboa is also scheduled to address a pending agreement.

For Europe, the Argentinian head of state plans to be in Paris between September 30 and October 2 for the “Argentina Week” corporate fair, and in late October he intends to travel to London for a conference on metals.

England Goalie - Pickford - Fends-Off Norway's Effort!

Cuba: FIFA World Cup 2026 – England & Argentina in Semi-Final Clash! (12.7.2026)

The decisive-strike came in extra time, when a rebound was conceded by goalkeeper Orjan Nyland, after Morgan Rogers powerful shot was taken advantage of by Bellingham to score the defining goal and secure his sixth goal of the tournament.

Shortly after, French referee Clément Turpin awarded a penalty in England’s favour, but the decision was reversed after VAR intervention.

In the final minutes, Norway tried to react, although they failed to clearly trouble the English defense, which secured the victory and the pass to the prelude to the final.

England will face Argentina in the semifinals, also after a 3-1 win of Switzerland in extra time, in a match played this Saturday in Kansas City.

Switzerland surprised with a very offensive approach in the first minutes against Argentina, but it was the Albiceleste who started on top, thanks to a header from Alexis MacAllister (10).
