The Philosophical Irrelevancy of the Bourgeois Critique

As the bourgeois process of cultural dominance and oppression is ongoing, the propaganda it produces is designed for one purpose only, and that is the maintenance of its own power and prestige within society. The bourgeois paradigm is presumed to be the only way of viewing and knowing the world that is accepted as ‘true’, ‘worthwhile’, ‘credible’ and ‘useful’, and yet from a logical, reasonable and scientific perspective, the philosophical underpinnings of bourgeois society is premised upon the creation and perpetuation of faulty knowledge.

Lucid Marx

Even the old Soviet Union (1917-1991), in its English translations of Marxist texts, used the term ‘spiritual’ to refer to ‘consciousness’, and in so doing, marked a clear separation between socialist and communist theory, with that of the theology of the established Judeo-Christian tradition that had dominated Europe with its ecclesiastical imaginations for over a thousand years.

Superficial Zizek

The racist aspect lies with the fact that Zizek either knows about – but chooses to ignore – indigenous Asian culture, or that he is not interested in any interpretive narrative that lies outside of the scope of a Eurocentric thought. In short, Zizek is a postmodern bourgeois thinker, masquerading as a post-Marxist thinker. How did the dialectical forces of history create this Zizek figure?

China’s Revolutionary Path is Correct

The problem with this ‘rightest’ deviation from Communist comradeliness, is that it plays directly into the hands of the political rightwing and gives fuel to the racially motivated ideologues. Many in the West oppose China from a position of residual racism. This is the bourgeois position of the need to denigrate and demean at the point of contact, used as a means to control and subordinate anyone, or anything that is perceived or ‘declared’ as ‘different’, and deviating from the presumed ‘norm’.
