Later, the 14th Dalai Lama became very a close friend with the exiled Nazi War Criminal Heinrich Harrer, who in return for an amnesty from the Western allies for his war crimes (as a member of the Nazi Party and personal friend of Adolf Hitler), assisted the CIA to concoct a story about Tibet being ‘invaded’ by China. The Racist Rhetoric of the Pro-Tibetan Movement
This essentially ‘Cold War’ rhetoric presents the Tibetan people through a highly racialised filter, very much in the mould of WWII era Japanese militarism and fascism (which depicted the Japanese people as being both physically and spiritually superior to all other ethnic groups). He lies routinely about the history of Tibet and China, and teaches a distorted version of the Buddha-Dharma that does not accord with the Vinaya Discipline, the Sutras, or the Abhidharma – the three sections of the Buddhist teachings.
