Hundreds of thousands of men volunteered for service in the Armies of the Confederate States of America (CSA). This included Black, Asian and Indian men, etc, as well as countless Whites. Of course, many foreign men slso volunteered. Out these, tens of thousands paid with their lives or were maimed and wounded. They fought for a genuine freedom that would have eventually benefitted everyone regardless of race! It is sad to see the racists steal their flag and misrepresent their cause!
Only the political rightwing in the US would be stupid enough to refer to its own political support as being a ‘Red Wave’! A genuine Red Wave would involve a massive movement of the empowered Workers who have thrown off the shackles of capitalist oppression and the false consciousness that keeps it artificially in place!

We travelled from West Sutton to King’s Cross St Pancreas Station in West Central London, on the hunt for two blue plaques commemorating Lenin’s visits to London in 1905 and 1908. They are affixed to buildings where he stayed (possibly with other Revolutionaries such as Joseph Stalin). My partner Gee used the GPS on her mobile phone and the first plaque we located was in Tavistock Place:
