The irony (and injustice) is that the Constitution of China guarantees a belief (and disbelief) in religion – and facilitates genuine religious practice (including Christianity) to a far greater degree than the secular UK. The South China Morning Post travelled to Sutton and wrote an article following the migration path of one such rioting family who was given a “free” three-bedroomed house, car, job, healthcare, and schooling in the exclusive area of nearby Banstead – undermining the UK-Tory claims that this was not happening. Furthermore, as this Indian newspaper reports, lunatic evangelical Christians a) still exist in Hong Kong, and b) possess a full freedom to express their fanatical and ridiculous ideas unopposed. Their latest stupidity involves the misidentification of a natural rock formation in Turkey as being “Noah’s Ark” – a lie which even credits the pseudo-history of the Old Testament to be literally “true” (with Zionist undertones) – when such stories are religious myths used to control subjugated populations. Of course, these individuals have a right to hold their belief – just as I have the right to disagree. If you objectively research the religiously-based Noah’s Ark claims – you will find none of them are literally (objectively) true.
