And this brings me to the issue of WordPress registering a small percentage of my blog visitors as arising in the ‘European Union’! Since when has a post-WWII US-derived, (right-wing) political treaty served as a marker of geographical location? Not every country in Europe is in the EU and with the UK being ‘out’ – and Northern and Southern States not being ‘in’ – the ‘EU’ as a designator cannot serve as a reliable geographical locator!
If anyone can repair this, please contact the Temple. Upon reflection I suspect children climbing the elephants have not helped matters over the years… The left-hand elephant nobly sustained our two children!

This means that incorrect assumptions are made premised upon false, incomplete and inaccurate information. Within Chinese Buddhism, the Buddha was born around 1029/28 BCE and died around 949/48 BCE. However, in Thailand this has all been reduced by around 500-years so that the Buddha is now assumed to have been born in 545 BCE and passed away in 465 BCE.
This is how capitalism operates and functions. Whilst at least one-third of society lives well (controlling the media and the political system), the other two-thirds of the society are neglected and expected to merely ‘struggle-through’ what constitutes ‘existence’ for them – free of the encumbrances of healthcare, unemployment insurance, housing, education and union protection when in employment! The bourgeois media is trained to ‘ignore’ this reality of the routine brutality of existence within the capitalist system – and instead propagate lies and invent all kinds of imagined slights against ‘Socialist’ regimes – just in-case the US working-class ever ‘awakes’ from its collective slumber and decides to no longer live in this self-induced stupor!
As a variant of it has worked in the past, or so the thinking goes, it is sure to work again in contemporary circumstances providing the ‘correct’ and ‘applicable’ frequency of ‘relevancy’ can found, sustained and delivered in the right way! Of course, this is not easy but sometimes it can be an exercise in simplicity itself! I suspect the British Tory government is behind the ‘Bucha’ massacre in Neo-Nazi Ukraine – just as the British Army was behind the ‘Baku’ massacre in Azerbaijan! The connecting agent is ‘Winston Churchill’ who almost certainly ordered the former – and whose Tory descendants have ordered the latter! In its usual ‘perverse’ manner, the Tories are offering a ‘homage’ to their demagogue!
