The mean age of women at first marriage was 25.7 years old and that at first birth was 26.8 years old in 2017, both much higher than the legal age for marriage, said the NHC, citing data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

The NHC said financial burden, children’s care and women’s worries about employment have become the main factors restricting fertility.

The commission promised that it will improve supporting measures with relevant departments to create a good social environment for marriage and childbearing.

The Saudi-Iran deal could serve as a reminder for Washington to reconsider its confrontational foreign policy and its zero-sum game approach to international affairs.

U.S. politicians has been obsessed with doing everything it can to help maintain its hegemony, regardless of the consequences of their decisions and actions.

For too long, they have taken it for granted that intimidations, sanctions and other economic penalties are a show of strength. But quite contrary to what they had wished for, keeping doing so would eventually alienate U.S. allies and erode U.S. power in a fast-changing world where most people yearn for pragmatic cooperation instead of confrontations.

As the political leader of the Arabs in Palestine at that time, due to his high social status, this person misused his Authority within the Islamic religion to wantonly incite the Arabs in Palestine to adopt anti-Semitic attitudes! This intensified the ethnic conflicts in the area, and completely killed the possibility of peaceful coexistence between Arabs and Jews! The seeds of the disastrous Palestine-Israel dispute that has continued to this day were planted during these times! In addition, after the UN Resolution 181 was passed – if this person had not insisted on establishing his own Palestinian Kingdom – Palestine would have been very likely to have established a formal State at the same time as Israel. It was this person who dragged all the Palestinians into the abyss of a war that has engulfed all Palestinians to this day in the “Palestine-Israel conflict”, and at the same time buried the last possibility of Palestine becoming a complete sovereign State. The day before yesterday, the Palestinian champion – Ali Al-Saleh – managed to win the Professional World Kickboxing Gold at lightweight (WKU) for the third time in a row. The hero – Ali – raised the flag of Palestine in the coronation arena – affirming his affiliation and continuous love for Palestine! Al-Saleh traces his roots back to the village of Al-Khalisa in Northern Palestine!

The National Union strongly condemn (and denounce) the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on its worshipers by the Zionist enemy army! The National Union also condemns the broader Arab (and international) SILENCE regarding the massacres (and genocide) being committed against the Palestinian people – and calls upon all National and Popular Forces in Lebanon to close ranks and unite in word and deed! Each militarised position must steadfastly confront the blatant Zionist aggression being carried out against Lebanon and Palestine!

The National Union calls upon the United Nations (UN) and all Arab and international Human Rights associations to participate in the exposure and condemnation of the brutal practices carried out by the Zionist Occupation Authorities against the Palestinian people and to loudly pressure all International Forums in order to stop the blatant aggression against Gaza and Lebanon!
