The US has responded to this by placing ridiculous tariffs (as much as 200%) on all Chinese EVs imported into the West (a draconian policy followed by the UK and EU, etc) – a markup which renders these cars virtually unsellable! I envisage a time when we will all be queuing-up with our EVs at petrol-pump type chargers – and be paying about the same for a fully charged battery – as we used to do for a full tank of petrol!
After 1991, and the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Communist Bloc (of Eastern Europe) – what remains of the Communist Party has splintered and shattered into ever more isolated, one-sided, and out of touch groups – all claiming (in their own way) to represent a working class that takes virtually no notice of their existence. Talking shops with no audience is the best example. Therefore, the Marxist-Leninist “Left” in the US (and to a lesser extent throughout Western and Eastern Europe) has no power or influence throughout society. Meanwhile, the US media and academic system continues to pump-out a slew of works denigrating Soviet history and deliberately misrepresenting the history of the Communist Party and the Socialist Movement. For over a hundred years a false history has been propagated by the American State which has brainwashed the average US citizen into thinking in a completely incorrect and fallacious manner. The US understanding of Soviet and Socialist is entirely deficient, negative, mythic, and legendary in essence.
WordPress could prove neither of these allegations and so my blog was unblocked. Throughout all of this, however, WordPress continuously threatened me with the entire contents of my blog being deleted. This is 13-years of family and political activity – including my banning from Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, etc. I have never done anything wrong – all I have insisted on is supporting China and North Korea in a peaceful way. I am a British person from a culture that advocates the ancient Greek attributes of freedom of thought and freedom of expression – but it seems that when I exercise these attributes – the Americans do not like it! During his daily press conference on Monday, Lopez Obrador presented a letter dated Aug. 16, in which he condemned the U.S. government for financially supporting a Mexican NGO, Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity, which has been a vocal critic of his administration.
“This procedure is completely offensive and contrary to relations respectful of sovereignty,” the president wrote in the letter.
Lopez Obrador also reminded Biden of his consistent opposition to such interference and urged him to take action to halt the activities of the United States Agency for International Development that supports these practices.
“Hopefully I can do something to stop this grievance that threatens our constitutional principle of non-intervention and self-determination of peoples,” he said.
Lopez Obrador, whose term concludes at the end of September, has repeatedly raised concerns about the financial support the NGO has been receiving from the United States.
If the Soviet Red Army had suffered debilitating casualties – then it is highly likely that Winston Churchill’s suggested 1945 attack on the Soviet Armed Forces by the Western Allies – would have materialised! The Armed Forces of the Western Allies would have attacked the Soviet Red Army across the Berlin-divide – thus redefining and extending WWII. In the above video, the Western Allies are fawning over the USSR – as the intended Soviet sacrifices have not yet ended. The hypocrisy is tangible through the visual images. The demonisation of Joseph Stalin would ratchet-up considerably post-1945 in Washington (and its satellites) – but at the time this video was filmed – both the Western leaders understand the importance of the Soviet contribution. Later, Joseph Stalin had this ornate sword handed to a Soviet orphan – whose parents had been killed by the Nazi Germans.
