Media Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon

In order to strengthen the fraternal relationship between the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Hezbollah, a Delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine visited the Headquarters of the Political Council of Hezbollah, in the Southern suburb of Beirut, on Thursday, February 15th, 2024. The Delegation included the PFLP Political Relations Official in Lebanon – Abdullah Al-Dannan – the Head of the PFLP’s Prisoners’ Committee in Lebanon was Fathi Abu Ali, and they were received by Sheikh Atallah Hammoud, the Assistant responsible for Palestinian Relations in Hezbollah.
During the meeting, the attendees affirmed the historical and distinguished relationship between the PFLP and Hezbollah, and the ongoing means of cooperation and coordination between both for the benefit of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. As a consequence, the following points were confirmed and discussed:
1- The Palestinian situation at home and the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, especially the terrorism practiced by the enemy on the city of Rafah. Palestinian National Unity was stressed together with the role of the Resistance in confronting the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem – whilst confronting the illegal Settlement and Displacement Projects that aim to liquidate the Palestinian people (Israeli inflicted ‘Genocide’) – with the Zionist removal of the Holy City of Jerusalem as their capital.
2 – The two sides condemned the Zionist aggression against Gaza, the West Bank and Southern Lebanon, and the accompanying Arab and International ‘Silence’ regarding the IDF-induced massacres, killing and terrorism taking place against the Palestinian people, whilst praising the role of the Resistance in confronting the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese people – sending greetings to all the free people of the world acting in Solidarity with the Palestinian people!
3 – Strengthening unity among all Resistance factions, emphasizing the centrality of the confrontation in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood – and Resisting the Zionist enemy which, through its racism – practices a ‘War of Extermination’ whilst Committing Crimes Against Humanity!
At the conclusion of the meeting, the PFLP Delegation paid tribute to His Eminence the Secretary-General of Hezbollah – Mr. Hassan Nasrallah – to the leadership of the Resistance and its Martyrs, to the Martyred leaders Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Mr. Abbas Al-Moussawi, and Hajj Imad Mughniyeh.
In turn – Sheikh Atallah Hamoud – saluted the Secretary-General of the PFLP – Ahmed Saadat – his fellow Prisoners, and the Martyrs, Fighters and Supporters of the Front.
In conclusion, they emphasized the role of all the branches of the collective anti-Zionist Resistance, which stands by the Palestinian people and their valiant stand against Zionist fascism and genocide!

تعزيزًا للعلاقة الأخوية بين الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين وحزب الله، زار وفد من الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين مقر المجلس السياسي لحزب الله، في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت، وذلك يوم الخميس في ١٥ شباط ٢٠٢٤، وقد ضم الوفد مسؤول العلاقات السياسية للجبهة في لبنان عبد الله الدنان، ومسؤول لجنة الأسرى للجبهة في لبنان فتحي أبو علي، وكان في استقبالهم الشيخ عطالله حمود معاون مسؤول العلاقات الفلسطينية في حزب الله .
خلال اللقاء أكد المجتمعون العلاقة التاريخية والمميزة التي تربط الجبهة الشعبية وحزب الله، وسبل التعاون والتنسيق بينهما لما فيه من مصلحة للشعبين الفلسطيني واللبناني، وتم تأكيد ما يلي:
١- الوضع الفلسطيني في الداخل ومعركة طوفان الاقصى لاسيما الإرهاب الذي يمارسه العدو على مدينة رفح، وأكدوا الوحدة الوطنية الفلسطينية، ودور المقاومة في التصدي للعدوان الصهيوني على الشعب الفلسطيني، وغزة والضفة والقدس ومواجهة مشاريع التوطين والتهجير التي تهدف إلى تصفية القضية الفلسطينية، وعاصمتها القدس الشريف .
٢- أدان الجانبان العدوان الصهيوني على غزة والضفة وجنوب لبنان، وما يرافقه من صمت عربي ودولي إزاء ما يجري من مجازر وقتل وإرهاب بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، وأثنيا على دور المقاومة في تصديها للعدوان الصهيوني المستمر على شعبنا الفلسطيني واللبناني، متوجهين بالتحية إلى كل أحرار العالم المتضامنين مع الشعب الفلسطيني .
٣ – تعزيز الوحدة بين فصائل المقاومة كافة، وتأكيد محورية المواجهة في معركة طوفان الأقصى، ومقاومة العدو الصهيوني الذي يمارس بعنصريته حرب الإبادة، ويرتكب جرائم ضد الانسانية .
وفي ختام اللقاء، توجه وفد الجبهة بالتحية لسماحة أمين عام حزب الله السيد حسن نصر الله، وإلى قيادة المقاومة وشهدائها وللقادة الشهداء الشيخ راغب حرب، والسيد عباس الموسوي والحاج عماد مغنية
بدوره الشيخ عطالله حمود، وجه التحية للأمين العام للجبهة أحمد سعدات، ورفاقه الأسرى، وإلى شهداء الجبهة ومناضليها ومناصريها .
في الختام، أكدا دور محور المقاومة الذي يقف إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني ومقاومته الباسلة.
