The Youth of Today…

Che Guevara was photographed wearing a beret before his death by Alberto Korda, and this picture has become one of the most famous and influential 20th century images.  As a consequence, Che Guevara is recognised as the ‘world’s preeminent revolutionary’ and is still very popular amongst the left-wing youth of the world.  In fact his image and reputation are considered sacrosanct, and he is adored especially by China’s rock and roll youth.  Pictured in 2001, Beijing rockers wearing Che Guevara T-shirts of this classic image at a music festival.
