The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) confirmed that the announcement by the defeated and cowardly Zionist Army comes at the start of an evacuation of the population east of the city of Rafah – and coincides with an ongoing brutal bombardment that has targeted a large number of civilian homes crowded with displaced people! This occurs within the framework of the ongoing Zionist War of Annihilation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip – and represents a miserable attempt to subjugate and break the Palestinian people. The will of the Palestinian people will NOT be broken! This attack represents a FAILED Zionist attempt to pressure the Resistance to make more concessions!
The PFLP stresses that the failed Zionist Enemy will not be able, through military pressure on the city of Rafah, to achieve any of its objectives on the ground. All that will be achieved is more killing, massacres, and the systematic destruction of infrastructure. There will be an expansion of the severity of the catastrophic humanitarian crisis that the city is already suffering – increasing to an ever harsher and more severe level – especially since the area of Zionist aggression will include the Rafah and Karm Abu Crossings.
The PFLP hold the American Administration and the International Community fully responsible for the upcoming Zionist War Crimes (and Crimes Against Humanity) that the civilians and displaced people will be exposed to. Especially since the American Administration is aware of the Occupation’s Plans for Rafah – and there is coordination at the highest levels between the two Parties in managing the process.
The PFLP calls upon the supporters of the Palestinian people everywhere, and the Solidarity Movements throughout the entire world, to initiate a comprehensive and sweeping global Uprising that is not limited to universities, but includes all unions, institutions, Arab, Palestinian and Islamic communities and movements to boycott the Occupation! Take to the squares and streets and besiege International Institutions and Embassies of aggression to send a strong message! Condemn the continuation of the Zionist-initiated Holocaust, and press for an end to the aggression now directed against the defenceless civilians in Rafah!
The PFLP concluded its statement stressing that the city of Rafah will be, as it has always been, a cemetery for the Zionist Invaders, and the Heroic Operation in which the Resistance targeted a military site housing the Operations Command that is managing the aggression against Rafah yesterday – was nothing less than a clear message from the Resistance to the enemy and its cowardly leaders that many surprises await – surprises cannot be escaped. There is no foolishness in Rafah except more disappointment, miserable failure, defeat, and a collapse in assumed Zionist deterrent power!

لجبهة الشعبية: مدينة رفح ستكون مقبرة للغزاة الصهاينة والكثير من المفاجآت تنتظر العدو

أكدت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أن إعلان جيش العدو المهزوم والجبان البدء بعملية إخلاء للسكان شرقي مدينة رفح تزامنًا مع قصف وحشي مستمر استهدف عددًا كبيرًا من منازل المواطنين المكتظة بالنازحين، يأتي في إطار حرب الإبادة المستمرة على شعبنا في القطاع، ومحاولة انتقامية بائسة لتركيع أبناء شعبنا وكسر إرادتهم، ووسيلة فاشلة للضغط على المقاومة لتقديم المزيد من التنازلات.
وشددت الجبهة أن العدو الصهيوني الفاشل لن يستطيع بالضغط العسكري على مدينة رفح تحقيق أي منجزات على الأرض سوى المزيد من القتل والمجازر والتدمير الممنهج للبنية التحتية، وتوسيع حدة الأزمة الإنسانية الكارثية التي تعاني منها المدينة إلى مستويات أقسى وأشد خصوصاً وأن منطقة العمليات ستشمل معبري رفح وكرم أبو سالم.
وحَملّت الجبهة الإدارة الأمريكية، والمجتمع الدولي المسؤولية الكاملة عما سيتعرض له المدنيون والنازحون من جرائم صهيونية قادمة؛ خاصة وأن الإدارة الأمريكية على دراية وعلم بمخططات الاحتلال برفح، وهناك تنسيق على أعلى المستويات بين الطرفين في إدارة هذه العملية.
ودعت الجبهة أنصار الشعب الفلسطيني في كل مكان، وحركات التضامن في العالم أجمع إلى انتفاضة عالمية شاملة وعارمة لا تقتصر على الجامعات، بل تشمل جميع النقابات والمؤسسات والجاليات العربية والفلسطينية والإسلامية وحركات مقاطعة الاحتلال، والنزول إلى الميادين والشوارع ومحاصرة المؤسسات الدولية وسفارات العدوان لتوجيه رسائل قوية، منُددة باستمرار المحرقة، وضاغطة من أجل وقف العدوان خصوصاً الموجه الآن ضد المدنيين العزل في رفح.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها مؤكدةً أن مدينة رفح ستكون كما كانت دوماً مقبرةً للغزاة الصهاينة، وما العملية البطولية التي استهدفت فيها المقاومة موقعاً عسكرياً يضم قيادة العمليات التي تدير العدوان على رفح أمس إلا رسالة واضحة من المقاومة لهذا العدو وقادته الجبناء أن الكثير من المفاجآت تنتظركم، ولن تجنوا من أي حماقة في رفح سوى المزيد من الخيبة والفشل الذريع والهزيمة، والانهيار في قوة ردعكم.
