Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier "Baffled" By British Soldier Plumage!

UK: German President Visits Without Invading! (4.12.2025)

By the way, the impressive hats worn by the British “Guard” Regiments were picked-up from the battlefield of Waterloo in 1815 – acquired from the POWs, (and the dead and wounded bodies) of Napoleon’s “Imperial Guard”. The originals were literally made of bear-skin – but modern replicas are synthetic. Napoleon’s “Grande Armee” possessed a Socialistic structure (once a month there was a general welfare meetings where all ranks were null and void for one hour and all present could speak on equal terms as men) – with each man (from the humblest to the highest) given the best uniform money could buy. The Imperial Guard was the best of the best – but they came unstuck at Waterloo when confronting the English working-class scum that formed Wellington’s Line Infantry. Once the Napoleonic metal plates were removed – the British Regiments were permitted to wear these hats whilst on parade. The common Line Infantry Regiments were promoted into elite “Guards” formations. Ironically, Prussia, (under Prince Blucher), was on the side of the British that day at Waterloo. The UK also possessed Black soldiers from Nassau.

Red Flag Will Set You Free!

UN French Language Day! Vive la France! Viva la revolución! (20.3.2025)

Much later, in 1871 – France was forced to go to war with Germany. However, the great people of Paris overthrow the French bourgeois government and declared the “Paris Commune” – an entity Karl Marx (living in London) declared the “first Socialist State in the world”! The Paris Commune abolished religion, capitalism and war. All public servants worked for “free”. Education was “free”. Food was “free”. Clothing was “free”. Employment was guaranteed and men, women, and children were “equal”. Défense of the Paris Commune was a voluntary affair. Of course, the French and German bourgeoisie stopped fighting one another – joined forces – and attacked the working-class Paris Commune, totally destroying it and executing its officials, supporters and soldiers!

1870: Britain’s First Victorian Bicycle Club! (22.5.2023)

If the ‘Playing Fields of Eton’ produced the victors at Waterloo – the slums of London, Manchester and Birmingham (which produced the working class Army of Wellington) certainly could NOT produce those who could ‘pedal’ a rather crude bicycle (by today’s standards) and safely navigate this device whilst travelling much slower than ten miles an hour! Still, once the ‘class’ parameters were firmly established – what was such a progressive organisation to be called?
