Panama - Chinese Workers Suffered Under Terrible Conditions!

China: Paying Homage – Monument of the Chinese Workers – Putting An End to a Hundred Years of Being Alone! (30.12.2025)

Most of the overseas Chinese in Panama today come from Chinese workers who came to the Americas in the late Qing Dynasty. Contrary to the friendly attitude of the Panamanian government towards China today, from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China (1911), there have been many anti-China trends in the Americas, and Panama has also been involved in such turmoil. The main reason for this is that diligent and thrifty Chinese workers were more likely to accumulate wealth, and become the target of persecution – because they possessed no political status (such as citizenship). There was a time when Panama even legislated to deprive overseas Chinese of their property. In order to avoid the plundering of their hard-earned savings, Chinese workers in Panama (at that time) had to try to find women of other races to inter-marry with in order to transfer their property to their wives or children. This experience of racism has greatly changed the Chinese faces of Panama from that of their ancestors. Today, many look entirely “Panamanian” with only their surnames carrying a connection to the Chinese motherland and hometown.

US Sherman Tank - Torcross WWII

UK: Torcross WWII US Sherman Tank – Operation Tiger Memorial! (24.12.2025)

Although I am critical of modern America – I cannot fault the brave men of the US who came to help England as we stood alone against an all-mighty Nazi Germany (most British people my age have grand-parents who fought in WWII). Of course, the Soviet Union joined the UK first (during late June, 1941) – with the US following shortly after Imperial Japan had attacked Pearl Harbour (in December, 1941). In fact, the UK had been fighting Nazi Germany since 1939 – and Imperial Japan in Burma (and elsewhere) also from late 1941. This is what the Imperial War Museum has to say about the Torcross Memorial:

By the way, the impressive hats worn by the British “Guard” Regiments were picked-up from the battlefield of Waterloo in 1815 – acquired from the POWs, (and the dead and wounded bodies) of Napoleon’s “Imperial Guard”. The originals were literally made of bear-skin – but modern replicas are synthetic. Napoleon’s “Grande Armee” possessed a Socialistic structure (once a month there was a general welfare meetings where all ranks were null and void for one hour and all present could speak on equal terms as men) – with each man (from the humblest to the highest) given the best uniform money could buy. The Imperial Guard was the best of the best – but they came unstuck at Waterloo when confronting the English working-class scum that formed Wellington’s Line Infantry. Once the Napoleonic metal plates were removed – the British Regiments were permitted to wear these hats whilst on parade. The common Line Infantry Regiments were promoted into elite “Guards” formations. Ironically, Prussia, (under Prince Blucher), was on the side of the British that day at Waterloo. The UK also possessed Black soldiers from Nassau.

The Effect of Japanese Racism in 1946!

China: Increase in Japanese Sexual & Racial Crime Threat to Chinese Safety! (27.11.2025)

From 2021 to 2024, the number of criminal cases suspected of violating Japan’s penal code rose from 568,000 to 738,000. Serious violent crimes — including abduction, arson, homicide, robbery, rape and sexual assault — had increased from 8,821 cases to 14,614, marking a surge of about 65.7 percent, the embassy said in a notice published on its official WeChat account.

Since July, the number of requests for assistance received by Chinese diplomatic missions regarding discrimination-related incidents has risen significantly, with a notable spike reported in November. In recent days, multiple Chinese nationals living in Japan have reported being subjected to unprovoked verbal abuse or physical assault, resulting in injuries, according to the embassy.

St Peter & St Paul Church - Market Overton

Market Overton: Visiting St Peter & St Paul Church! (28.10.2025)

Culture is an interesting thing – as it often changes and switches. When Henry VIII abolished the Roman Catholic Church in the UK in 1534 (Act of Supremacy) – followed by the Dissolution of the Monasteries – these were tremendous Revolutionary acts that must of shocked the entire population. Even before this, Henry V annulled all foreign-owned abbeys and monasteries (as many English church establishments had been given as gifts to ecclesiastical authorities in other countries) – bringing them into the ownership of the English State. Perhaps the Revolutionary writing was on the wall. Still, out of all this, the “Anglican” (Protestant) movement development – and most of the churches in the UK today are “Protestant” (the Catholic Church was only permitted back into the UK during the early 20th century – but it remains very much a minority religion).
