My personal opinion is that as ‘Crosses’ were not yet being widely used within Palestine by Jewish-Christian, I see no reason to assume that a ‘Crusader-era’ Cross would a) exist during the 3rd century CE, or b) be transported to China as an ‘act of faith’ and ‘conversion’! All these (hideous) aspects of Christian belief would not infest the teachings of Christ for many centuries to come. As I have said elsewhere, even the 8th century (Nestorian) Christian (stone) monuments preserved within China do NOT possess a single example of a ‘Cross’!

The ‘Couplet’ was probably composed during the 14th century CE to placate and interest the ‘new’ Sun Wu Emperor – a peasant who had overthrown the (foreign) Yuan Dynasty and re-established Chinese rule of China! This Emperor apparently liked poetry and particularly favoured ‘Couplets’ – so perhaps an over-zealous Minister (who had heard of ‘Christianity’) decided to fabricate the ‘finding’ of a ‘Cross’ (also constructed during the 14th century) – which soon had to go ‘missing’ so as to prevent any serious investigation of the matter – and the entire fabrication being found out! Heads would have rolled!

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – as the United States and South Korea spouted the most hostile rhetoric and demonstrated with clear actions this year – has continued to plan to further strengthen their anti-DPRK military posture in the name of “providing extended deterrence” and “strengthening the ROK-US alliance.” Under these circumstances, it is natural for our State to develop military deterrence commensurate with the current and future worrisome security environment – and to obtain and operate military reconnaissance means is essential to improving the military effectiveness and practicality of our various means of war deterrence. He said that this should be the most important and top priority task of our Collective Nation!

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un organized a non-stationary satellite launch preparation committee to launch Military Reconnaissance Satellite No. 1 – which had was successfully manufactured as of April – within the planned time frame – with accelerated final preparations. He set forth the militant task of firmly building reconnaissance and information-gathering capabilities by the DPRK. Receiving great trust and encouragement from the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – the officials, scientists and engineers of the National Space Development Agency will become space conquerors who faithfully uphold the Party’s vision of building a grand space power through perfect practice – and thus achieve the Republic’s self-respect, authority and independence! It was overflowing with fiery determination to raise the great national power of Ancient Korea proudly throughout the universe! (End)

It needs to be stressed that the U.S. is merely chasing shadows and its accusations against China in this report are nothing but fabrications, he added.

Wang noted that in international arms control and nonproliferation, China is committed to multilateralism and has always upheld the international system with the UN at its core and the international order based on international law and faithfully fulfilled its international obligations and commitments. China has actively participated in the review process of the NPT, the BWC and the CWC, started the domestic procedure to ratify the UN’s Firearms Protocol, and promoted the negotiation process for a legal instrument on arms control in space, he said.

With these concrete steps, China has contributed insight and solution to upholding the international arms control and nonproliferation system and safeguarding world peace, he added.

Senior Pentagon leadership restricted the flow of intelligence on Friday in response to the revelations, the Post quoted U.S. officials as saying, adding that one described the clampdown as unusually strict and said it revealed a high level of panic among Pentagon leadership.

DPRK: Respected Comrade Kim Jung Un Personally ‘Guided’ Nuclear Testing Programme! (28.3.2023)

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that we must never be satisfied with the work of establishing a thorough response posture for our nuclear force and that we must continue to strive for the ceaseless strengthening of our nuclear force. He said that nuclear weapons will never be used (only developed for self-defence), and only when an unimaginably powerful and superior nuclear force is deployed against the DPRK, the enemy will be deterred and will be afraid of us – not daring to touch our national sovereignty, system and people.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that in order to thoroughly carry out the Party Central Committee’s plan to exponentially increase the number of nuclear weapons possessed by the Nuclear Weapons Institute and the nuclear power sector, production of weapons-grade nuclear materials should be expanded with the prospect of encouraging a continuous production of powerful nuclear weapons. In doing so, he set forth essential tasks for the nuclear weapons research institute and the nuclear sector.

The scientists and officials of the Nuclear Weapons Research Institute, who once again accepted the direct guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, are always faithful to the important missions given by the Party and the Revolution, the country and the people, and have produced powerful nuclear weapons as befits the reliable “nuclear deterrents” of our Party. We expressed a fierce determination to faithfully defend the sacred Revolutionary Cause of Juche. (End)
