Sutton: A Woodpecker Outside Our Bedroom Window! (6.11.2025)

Whilst getting ready for school – our youngest daughter (Kai-Lin) – heard a “knocking” outside our bedroom window in our first-floor flat (the window is more or less in-line with the treetops nearby). When Gee pulled-back the curtain (it was around 8 am) to everyone’s surprise – there was what looked like a juvenile Woodpecker attempting to develop a head of steam through its inexperienced pecking! Normally, we only ever hear these birds “out of sight” as it were, but even then, only at a considerable distance (usually in woodland or nears forests) – but I have never seen such a rural bird landing within a city context.

Space: Fast Radio Burst [FRB] Reaches Earth After Travelling 10 Billion Years! (23.9.2025)

Why cosmic noon matters

The burst came from a time nicknamed “cosmic noon,” when the universe was forming stars at its fastest rate.

Astronomers see a peak in the cosmic star formation history about 10 to 11 billion years ago, and this event sits in that era.

Finding an FRB there matters for more than a date on a timeline. It shows that whatever powers FRBs was active when young galaxies were busy building their stars.

“This discovery doubles the redshift reach of localized FRBs. Our observations establish FRB activity during the peak of cosmic star formation” wrote Caleb.

Neo-Nazi Ukraine: Explosions Over Kyiv! (19.4.2023)

The night sky has bean lit up over Kyiv – and it doesn’t seem to be anything to do with Russia! If it is – nobody is talking! Apparently, Zelensky posted on social media that that he thought an air raid was taking place – but quickly deleted the post when it became clear no such action had taken place! The next element of mass hysteria is that this might be a NASA satellite falling to Earth!

The concept of a female goddess in China existed thousands of years prior to the development of Buddhism in India – and yet when the ‘male’ Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (evoking ‘Compassion’) was transmitted into China from India – ‘he’ morphed into a ‘she’ (becoming locally known as ‘Guanyin’ [觀音] or she who is ‘Attentive to Sound’) – whilst retaining all the Buddhist characteristics. Rolf Harris: Abusive Behaviour Live On TV! (24.2.2023)

It is surprising how many people in the UK think that there might have been a miscarriage of justice in this instance – but as you can see – there is nothing ‘funny’ about the noise the ‘Stylophone’ makes! In its day it was seen as the ipad of the 1970s! Many have described its outpourings as similar to sounds made by a cat ‘trapped’ in a tumble-dryer! Weirdly, I seem to remember Rolf Harris travelling to Court whilst riding in a boat on the Thames! Later, after his release from custody, he was then spotted by the tabloid press walking his dog – at least that they think he was doing with it!
