It is thought that “soul” is of a Germanic (Pagan) origin of uncertain meaning. Western secular narratives tend to incorrectly use “soul” when referring to “psyche”. The Greeks would not have known this term and did not agree with the notion of a spirit existing in opposition to the body. This is a purely Christian corruption of this Greek term. It is a habit of laziness that even academics who should know better at Oxford and Cambridge – still confuse “psyche” for “soul”. These two terms are not the same and should not be conflated. An argument can be made that “psyche” could be construed as the “moment of conception” in the womb (rather than a “soul” which is separate from the body, and which has nothing to do with sexuality). Psyche is the “essence” of psychological and physical existence.

The greedy amongst us could still exercise “individualism” – whilst the workers sought a collective path to inner and outer freedom. Oh, how lucky we were! Our children listen and ingest this deep meaning. Today, the Olde Sweet Shoppe is owned by an Asian family – but the male owner treated me with respect – and in so doing – he earned my respect. As an Englishman, I thanked him for treating my family with respect and politeness. Unlike the fascist, I don’t particularly care about who takes my money and processes my order. I wamt to transform the process away from exploitation – and not harm those who are active within it. There are many “White” English who are as ignorant as sh’t out there! They do not get a Free Pass from me just because they happen to have been born “English”. English people should behave to a higher standard – not lower.

Science has revealed that “dying” is not as simple as many religions have assumed it to be. An individual can be “brain” dead – whilst the body is otherwise still biologically functioning and in all other ways “healthy”. This is usually the scenario that involves the medical harvesting of healthy organs for transplant into other individuals with medical needs. Obviously, the transplanting process leads to the physical body being legally and lawfully “euthanised” – justified by the now deceased owner having given prior, written consent. Another example is that the brain can be fully functioning and cogent – whilst the body it occupies is either clinically or biologically “dead” (sometimes “both”). In this situation, the body is usually kept alive – through mechanical – means that are “withdrawn” at some point due to the “expense” of its maintaining by the healthcare provider.

When the Buddha attained ‘Enlightenment’, the habitual karmic-power that continuously pulled together his physical and psychological existence fell away – leaving only the residual karmic-power of his present (final) bodily existence. Although the Buddha had broken the ridge-pole of continuous delusional habit – the physical body he occupied whilst attaining this position still had to be ‘lived through’ – until its biological functions naturally expired and its cohesive structure fell away. All of the material universe exists within empty space. Buddhist ‘Enlightenment’ seems to suggest a subjective appreciation of this external space and understands that all material expression exists within a continuous state of flux. As the Buddha broke-free of the human attachment to physical existence – his achievement was originally portrayed by his followers as ‘being not there’.
