Since last October 7th 2024, more than 20,000 children have been born in the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the majority of them in shelter centres under very harsh conditions, especially with most hospitals being bombed out of service, a shortage of medical staff (many executed by the IDF), and the absence of the basics necessary for the birth process, the simplest of which is Hygiene, which exposes the mother and her child to many health risks, while other women give birth in the streets. Hayat tells us that she gave birth to her baby girl at night in one of the shelters. Her neighbour, a displaced doctor, helped her deliver her foetus by the light of a mobile phone, and cut the umbilical cord with paper scissors.

US: Hypocritical “Foreign Aid” Always Empty Promise! (22.4.2024)

Among major developed country emitters, the U.S. is the first to break its promise and behaves the worst. Carbon Brief, a UK energy research organization, shows that the U.S. should provide $39.9 billion in climate aid each year according to the share of historical carbon emissions, but in 2020 it only provided $7.6 billion, accounting for only 19% of its responsible share estimated, and contributing the least among the 23 developed countries concerned. In 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden pledged $11.4 billion annually  in climate aid to developing countries, but in reality, the U.S. has secured just $1 billion in 2021 and 2022 towards that goal. The United States has taken the lead in dodging the compensation issue that developing countries have repeatedly raised. The Washington Post commented that the U.S. has long resisted financial commitments at UN climate talks, fearing legal liability for the trillions of dollars of damage. Harjeet Singh, head of global political strategy at Climate Action Network International, criticized that “the U.S. has no sympathy, has no empathy. People are dying, and they don’t want a system here to help them.”

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message extended warm congratulations to the Syrian president and, through him, to the government and people of Syria on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of its independence on behalf of the government and people of the DPRK.

After the independence, the Syrian people have achieved many successes in the struggle to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and achieve socio-economic changes, resolutely standing against the ceaseless moves of all hostile forces for aggression and intervention, the message said.

Expressing the belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger, the message extended invariable support and encouragement to the just cause of the government and people of Syria for defending the sovereignty, peace and security of the country. In any event, we are left with this, “Western men – they have too small balls – and they run around chasing each other in their underwear!” Of course, many assume he’s just letting-off steam – talking shit about the very same NATO twinks that idolize him – and drool over drone videos! Gaza: Israeli Genocide “Business As Usual”! (17.4.2024)

Earlier, at least eight Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting vehicles in the Tuffah neighbourhood in central Gaza City.

Additionally, three Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in Israeli airstrikes north of the Nusseirat refugee camp. Occupation forces also demolished a number of residential homes north of the camp with explosives.

In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces continued for the second consecutive day to force all families present in the town of Beit Hanoun to evacuate, and several youths were arrested.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has resulted in 33,843 documented Palestinian fatalities, in addition to 76,575 injuries since October 7, 2023.

HONG KONG, April 11 (Xinhua) — The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), now in its 75th year of existence, has outlived its mandate and is clinging to life by fanning flames beyond its scope.

On April 4, 1949, led by the United States, 10 European countries plus Canada signed the North Atlantic Treaty in response to the so-called “threat posed by the Soviet Union.”

After the Soviet Union disintegrated in the 1990s, however, the military bloc did not dissolve and in reverse, extended its sinister grasp beyond its treaty-defined geographical scope eastwards voraciously, expanding its membership to 32 today. In recent years, the Asia-Pacific region has been its new prey.

Analysts warned that in its attempt to interfere in the Asia-Pacific, NATO is exporting “malicious poison to Asia,” posing a threat to regional security and stability, and hindering the region’s development.
