Happy International Workers’ Day! (1.5.2023)

‘In approaching a problem a Marxist should see the whole as well as the parts. A frog in a well says, “The sky is no bigger than the mouth of the well.” That is untrue, for the sky is not just the size of the mouth of the well. If it said, “A part of the sky is the size of the mouth of a well”, that would be true, for it tallies with the facts!’

China: Internation Labour Day – May 1st – May – Day – Workers of the World UNITE! (1.5.2023)

Farmer Long Xianxing (R), 85, and his wife return home after work in Yajiao Village of Dongqi Town, Rong’an County, south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, April 24, 2023. International Workers’ Day is observed annually on May 1 in China. The sight of every worker’s back prompts images related to effort, progress, practicality, as well as faith in the future. Every worker, no matter how ordinary, deserves a big applause for their every bit of hard work in making themselves a better person and the world a better place. (Xinhua/Huang Xiaobang)

Victor Lewis Smith – Smashing Things to Pieces! (28.2.2023)

Although I find what he was doing a demonstration of the Britain I love – the natural left-wing ‘freedom of thought’ and ‘expression’ I was brought up with – I recently watched a a video of a young man in his twenties in the UK describe the ‘Gay Daleks’ sketch as being ‘fascist’! This reminds me of those deluded young people who think US hegemony (and EU bigotry) equal ‘Internationalism’ – and that totalitarian conformity (as decreed by the US system) represents the highest form of individual freedom! These lost souls carry flags featuring Che Guevara next to flags of the EU – and stupidly believe that they are being ‘Revolutionary’! Such people are unable to think for themselves and understand that Neo-Nazi Ukraine is the enemy, and that Russia is fighting these Hitleresque forces once again – sacrificing its people for the containment of fascism! Victor Lewis Smith may not have been a ‘Communist’ (who knows?) but at least he exercised his ‘freedom of thought’ and did not compromise!

What Was Victor Lewis Smith Doing? (16.2.2023)

My report would state that I believe Mr Victor Lewis Smith is a ‘Marxist-Leninist’ (and therefore a ‘supporter’ of Stalin) – but that he uses the ‘Bourgeois’ view of Stalin in his humour to convey the ‘inverted’ and ‘illogical’ view the Bourgeoisie maintain and perpetuate toward one of the most effective working-class leaders the USSR ever produced. This view of Stalin is ‘funny’ because it is ‘ahistorical’ as such a person never existed. This ‘Stalin’ is the Judeo-Christian ‘devil’ which always lurks in the deepest recesses of the ‘inverted’ Bourgeois mind. It is the Bourgeois devil who also ‘juggles’ for the delight of the capacity crowd! A sort of John Wayne Gacy (a ‘slippery Pole’ no less) – who somehow manipulated his way to ‘elected’ power (custard pie in the face) in the USSR (hoot on a car horn)! What Victor Lewis Smith produced is a superb master-class of how to adapt Marxist-Leninist ‘dialectical’ critique and make it work in the mainstream of capitalist society! Everything he says means exactly what it is intended to mean at the point of its expression – whilst its structure becomes redundant (and therefore obsolete) the moment after it is uttered. The meaning is therefore both ‘precise’ and yet transforms in an ‘amorphous’ and therefore ‘universal’ interpretive format. Every sentence expresses exactly what the author intends it to mean – whilst every sentence once uttered becomes whatever the receiving mind wants it to mean – with no ‘contradiction’ manifesting in this unfolding, dialectical process. I believe we are seeing Hegel’s thesis, antithesis and synthesis turned upon its head and functioning the right way around. With the tightening of US hegemony and US anti-intellectualism stalking our land – it may be a very long time before we see the likes of Victor Lewis Smith again in the UK!

100th Anniversary of the Founding of the USSR (1922-2022)! Two Articles by VI Lenin! (30.12.2022)

A few years ago, I acquired a Two Volume Set entitled the Essentials of VI Lenin (1947) from Comrades in the ‘New Communist Party’ (NCP) in London. The NCP was busy embracing the North Korean ideology of ‘Juche’ and were happy to jettison overt ideological works pertaining to the USSR – such as those involving Lenin and Stalin. Their loss was my gain (although a modest amount of money did change hands) and I acquired the full Stalin Collection and a very good (and quite ‘rare’) Two Volume Edition of Lenin – published at a time when the USSR was still riding high following its 1945 Victories over Naxi Germany and Imperial Japan – and before the US Cold War had fully kicked in – (falsely equating as it did the USSR with Nazi Germany). A point to remember is that the Nazi Germans (and their allies – which included the Vatican) murdered around 41 million Soviet men, women and children – far more than officially died in the ‘Holocaust’ (although at least in-part, the Nazi Germans carried-out some of the ‘Holocaust’ killings whilst occupying Soviet soil). The USSR, of course, betrayed Lenin and Stalin through the behaviour of Nikita Khrushchev in 1956 – a known coward who fled the fighting in the Ukraine during 1941 to save his own skin! The USSR as founded in 1922 must be applauded for the working-class achievement that it was, and which it remains! We must strive to keep its memory alive by correctly telling its story! Onward Comrades!

History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union – Bolsheviks – Short Course (1939): Founding of the USSR (1922) [25.12.2022]

Author’s Note: Between 1914-1917 – the Russian people were allied with the UK against the Germans as allies during WWI. In that time, the Russian people lost around three-million casualties (mostly soldiers recruited from the peasant and workers’ class). This pointless mass murder unleashed various Revolutionary Forces throughout society – and the Russian Bolsheviks were eventually propelled into power through their slogan of ‘All Power to the Soviets’! The Bolsheviks were granted the ‘collective’ power held by their working associations (Soviets) – with Lenin ‘elected’ into the role of ‘General Secretary’ of the Communist Party of Russia! As a consequence, Lenin pulled Russia out of the war and thereby saved millions of lives! Following the Russian Revolution and Russia’s extraction from WWI, the UK, US (and twelve of their allies) militarily invaded Revolutionary Russia (between 1918-1921) and inflicted an attempted genocide upon the Russian toiling masses! This was aided and abetted by Imperial Germany which invaded Revolutionary Russia (together with six of its allies) between April-November 1918 (primarily operating in West Ukraine to the joy of the local Catholic population). Between April-November 1918 – British and German soldiers (primarily of working-class stock), fought shoulder to shoulder as ‘allies’ within Revolutionary Russia – whilst their British and German Comrades-in-Arms still killed one another as ‘enemies’ in the mud and filth of France and Belgium! This is part of the duplicitous ‘bourgeois’ history of WWI (and its immediate aftermath) that is never taught in schools nowadays! This mass invasion of Revolutionary Russia cost the lives of at least 10.5 million Russian people and has become known (rather bizarrely) as the ‘Russian Civil War’ – as if the Russians did all this to itself! And yet out of all this destruction, Lenin (and Stalin) cleverly manoeuvred the Revolutionary Russian people through the Revolutionary process, and a war with the entire known world! This they did in an expert manner and then established the ‘Union of Soviet Socialist Republics’ (USSR)! ACW (25.12.2022)
