UK: Kai-Lin Feeds the Birds – Lincoln’s Inn Fields! (18.10.2026)

Whilst traversing to other locations – we discovered “Lincoln’s Inn Fields” – which is a “Park” to you and me. The animals are all very take – which means the local people must be very kind and generous to them. Not only that – but this must have been the case for decades – as squirrels come up to you and try to climb your trouser leg in the hope of acquiring food. I have never seen a “murder” of crows acts so tame before (yes – that is really their collective name) – and co-exist peacefully beside pigeons. Kail-Lin also spotted a mouse at one point. As Buddhist – we are vegetarians and treat all life with respect – particularly innocent animals. Our children exercise loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom toward every animal they meet. All this is moderated trough common-sense.

China: Jurassic [Flightless] Bird Fossil Challenges Traditional Avian Evolutionary View! (16.10.2026)

The transition from land-dwelling dinosaurs to flying birds is one of the most remarkable events in the history of life, involving changes in the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems, skin-derived structures and behaviour, said Wang, the study’s corresponding author and a co-first author.

Macro-evolutionary models suggest that birds originated and began diversifying during the Jurassic Period. However, the scarcity of bird fossils from this critical period has left scientists with limited direct evidence of how the characteristic bird body plan emerged.
