UK: Heighington Station [1827] – First Train Platform in World! (19.1.2026)

Last year Heighington Station, which dates to back to 1827 and was part of the first passenger railway to use steam trains in the world, was bought by the charity Friends of the Stockton and Darlington Railway.

The group’s chair Niall Hammond said the excavation of a small train platform located near the site was planned.

He said it was presumed it was the “original for the building” because it looked the right size and shape.

He said plans were still in the early stages, but that the group hoped to attract lots of volunteers to the dig over the summer.

Hammond said the platform, which is next to the station, was “tiny” and had cobbles.

He said ideally the team would find a “Georgian penny” at the bottom of the platform during the dig which would confirm its age.

Shen Yi, a professor at Fudan University in Shanghai and a leading expert on cyberspace governance studies, said, “U.S. intelligence agencies have a typical behavioural pattern in hyping cybersecurity governance and national security issues, which is fabricating facts using false and inaccurate information, and fabricating so-called cyberattacks by other countries.”

The objective is to hype security threats and create anxiety, Shen added.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned a Beijing-based cybersecurity company, accusing it of helping Chinese hackers infiltrate U.S. telecommunication systems and conduct surveillance.

Galmpton: Encountering a Superb Traction Engine! (1.8.2024)

Indeed, what Goldsworthy Gurney first envisioned as an “Automobile” to be driven on open roads – became widely known as a “Traction Engine” from around 1850 in the UK. Ironically, whilst carry a single driver on country roads – whilst moving between farming fields – these devices were not allowed to evolve into the Motor Car envisioned by Goldsworthy Gurney. Only much later would a petrol-driven motor car be allowed to be developed. Whilst driving back from Exeter to Galmpton on Friday evening (Friday, August 1st, 2024) – whilst traversing the narrow streets of Galmpton – we encountered the above “Traction Engine” which was apparently joining many other examples in a local fayre that was about to be held! How lucky we were!

Even the former British Prime John Major has stated that the only country that is legitimately “free” in the word is North Korea as its people are NOT encumbered by immense debt – and he is right! Furthermore, prior to 1948, the North Korean people bravely confronted the Imperial Japanese and between 1950-1953 – the soldiers of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (alongside its Chinese Volunteer allies) not only took-on the aggression of the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand (mediated by a manipulated United Nations [UN]) inflicted spectacular military defeats upon the (collective) capitalist West!

Climate Change – Yes or No? (26.7.2023)

China does seem to align itself with the climate change agenda – but this might only be rhetorical. Yes – China advocates looking after the environment – but this is not the same as the climate change agenda which seeks to destroy culture to achieve its end. China’s culture is ‘developing’ – but is not being simultaneously destroyed to justify a bourgeois (Western) notion. This is not the same as the current climate change battle – as this appears to be faith-based and involves a Judeo-Christian ‘guilt’ aimed at being ‘Western’ and ‘Industrialised’ – but it is a form of what looks like ‘self-hate’ – as it is entirely of our own making!

UK: Strange Weather for December! (16.12.2022)

The Russian Academy of Sciences – one of the few institutions to survive intact from the USSR to a ‘capitalist’ Russia at the end of 1991 – stated matter of factly, that there is NO reliable, objective scientific evidence that ‘Global Warming’ is a ‘real’ phenomenon generated by the last 200 years of human Industrialised endeavour! On the contrary, the RAS clearly recognised that the Bourgeois West uses fearmongering associated with the ‘belief system’ surrounding ‘Global Warming’ as an excuse to bring-in political and economic sanctions which prevent Socialist and Developing countries from undergoing their own respective ‘Industrial Revolutions’ – and in so doing developing their own socio-economic structures, strengthen their individual countries and forge a better life for themselves! Such a ‘Luddite’ attitude maintains the status quo with ‘White’, Western European countries ‘dominating’ the world and ‘limiting’ the rest of the (non-White) countries from developing (by experiencing the same modernising processes) and becoming a threat to US hegemonic forces!
