George Galloway, MP for Bradford West, is a Muslim. He converted more than ten years ago in a ceremony at a hotel in Kilburn, north-west London, attended by members of the Muslim Association of Great Britain. Those close to him know this. The rest of the world, including his Muslim constituents, does not.

Over a halal, alcohol-free lunch at a cafe on Bradford’s main high street, Khan tells Galloway: “I know someone who attended your shahadah [the Muslim conversion ceremony].”

He stares at me across the table, penetrating blue eyes squinted, pausing for the first time in an hour. His special adviser, a glossy-haired Asian Pakistani called Ayesha, looks into her daal while his new bride, Gayatri Pertiwi – a Dutch-born Muslim of Indonesian descent 30 years his junior, seated beside him throughout the interview – smiles at me.

Japanese Prime Minister Kishida reportedly said at a recent meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives that he badly feels the need to boldly change the present situation prevailing between Japan and the DPRK. He also underlined the need to actively establish relations with the President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) – adding that he is now making sustained efforts to do so through different channels.

1- The Palestinian situation at home and the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, especially the terrorism practiced by the enemy on the city of Rafah. Palestinian National Unity was stressed together with the role of the Resistance in confronting the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem – whilst confronting the illegal Settlement and Displacement Projects that aim to liquidate the Palestinian people (Israeli inflicted ‘Genocide’) – with the Zionist removal of the Holy City of Jerusalem as their capital.

2 – The two sides condemned the Zionist aggression against Gaza, the West Bank and Southern Lebanon, and the accompanying Arab and International ‘Silence’ regarding the IDF-induced massacres, killing and terrorism taking place against the Palestinian people, whilst praising the role of the Resistance in confronting the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese people – sending greetings to all the free people of the world acting in Solidarity with the Palestinian people!

3 – Strengthening unity among all Resistance factions, emphasizing the centrality of the confrontation in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood – and Resisting the Zionist enemy which, through its racism – practices a ‘War of Extermination’ whilst Committing Crimes Against Humanity!

The Department added that the Zionist entity, with US and international assistance, has launched in recent weeks a major incitement campaign against UNRWA, fabricating a number of lies and accusations – forcing funding countries to cut-off support and end its work. This Zionist policy removes a major witness to the tragedy and catastrophe of the Palestinian people that bears the greatest role in attempting to prevent it. In providing relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip – UNRWA is an objective witness to the deliberate Zionist War of Genocide that continues at this very moment.

Peace & Love to Radio DJ Steve Wright [1954-2024]! (15.2.2024)

Perhaps there was an ‘Earlier Steve Wright’ and a ‘Latter Steve Wright’ (just like Wittgenstein) – as I am told he was working for the BBC in the 1980s well before I knew of him (I used to listen to Adrian Juste, Kenny Everett and Radio Moscow under the bedclothes at night) during that time. Whilst engaged in reclusive (academic) studies, Steve Wright would accompany me through a strict study and keep-fit regimen. When not reading and writing – I would be lifting weights and practicing martial arts movements, etc. Steve Wright and his humour would align with the freshness and beauty of Spring and Summer – and lift us out of the inherent misery of Autumn and Winter! Lastly, when the capitalist world was going through an orgy of self-congratulation following the collapse of the USSR in 1991 – Steve Wright continued to point-out (in a humorous and acceptable manner) all the inconsistencies that still lay within the capitalist system. As to whether this was his intention I do not know. As he was earning over £400,000 per year – I suspect not.

On August 19th, 1945, Puyi was in a Waiting Room attempting to escape on a flight to Japan from the Shenyang Dongta Airport (situated in Manchuria – Northeast China). Together with Japanese Officials and a number of Imperial Japan’s Kwantung Army Generals – Puyi was captured by members of the Soviet Red Army Parachute Regiment (with NKVD Elements) – a Special Force despatched for this very important military operation! Many Soviet POWs had been captured by the Nazi Germans and sent to Manchuria – where they were illegally experimented upon by Unit 731 of the Imperial Japanese Army. Such Soviet prisoners were boiled alive, frozen to death, vivisected, castrated, and used in experiments testing various illnesses, gases, and munitions of all kinds. These Soviet men and women suffered alongside millions of Chinese people and other Asians – including a smaller number of Westerners. Despite the evil perpetuated by the machinations of Japanese fascism – the soldiers of the Soviet Red Army treated Puyi (and his Imperial Japanese allies) very well. Indeed, an NKVD Operative politely enquired of Puyi (in the Mancherian language), ‘Your Majesty – are you the Emperor of China?’
