Witnessing such muscle-flexing alone, one can easily understand the reason why tensions are soaring in the region like a kindled detonating fuse.

The U.S., which kicked off its madcap war drumbeats in the new year through a “joint combat firing drill” with the gangsters of the ROK puppet army on Jan. 4, has frantically staged war drills under various codenames such as “drill of neutralizing CBR weapons storage facilities”, “allied cyber training” and “joint special operation drill”.

From January 15 the U.S., together with Japan and the ROK puppets, conducted a “joint maritime drill” with the involvement of its nuclear carrier Carl Vinson for four days in the waters off Jeju Island.

Since last October 7th 2024, more than 20,000 children have been born in the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the majority of them in shelter centres under very harsh conditions, especially with most hospitals being bombed out of service, a shortage of medical staff (many executed by the IDF), and the absence of the basics necessary for the birth process, the simplest of which is Hygiene, which exposes the mother and her child to many health risks, while other women give birth in the streets. Hayat tells us that she gave birth to her baby girl at night in one of the shelters. Her neighbour, a displaced doctor, helped her deliver her foetus by the light of a mobile phone, and cut the umbilical cord with paper scissors.

New Moon Map!

China: World’s First High-Definition Lunar Geologic Atlas Published! (22.4.2024)

He mentioned that China’s upcoming Chang’e-6 mission is expected to collect samples in the Apollo Basin within the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the far side of the moon, which means materials ejected from ancient terrain may be collected in the process. “Our map can provide a macroscopic geologic background to improve the purpose and efficiency of the sample research,” Liu explained.

The compilation of this map was an immense task, which required the organization and cooperation of many well-informed researchers over many years to be able to achieve a consistent and complete result, commented Gregory Michael, a senior scientist from the Free University of Berlin in Germany.

“This map, in particular, is the first on a global scale to utilize all of the post-Apollo era data. It builds on the achievements of the international community over the last decades, as well as on China’s own highly successful Chang’e program. It will be a starting point for every new question of lunar geology, and become a primary resource for researchers studying lunar processes of all kinds,” Michael added.

US: Hypocritical “Foreign Aid” Always Empty Promise! (22.4.2024)

Among major developed country emitters, the U.S. is the first to break its promise and behaves the worst. Carbon Brief, a UK energy research organization, shows that the U.S. should provide $39.9 billion in climate aid each year according to the share of historical carbon emissions, but in 2020 it only provided $7.6 billion, accounting for only 19% of its responsible share estimated, and contributing the least among the 23 developed countries concerned. In 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden pledged $11.4 billion annually  in climate aid to developing countries, but in reality, the U.S. has secured just $1 billion in 2021 and 2022 towards that goal. The United States has taken the lead in dodging the compensation issue that developing countries have repeatedly raised. The Washington Post commented that the U.S. has long resisted financial commitments at UN climate talks, fearing legal liability for the trillions of dollars of damage. Harjeet Singh, head of global political strategy at Climate Action Network International, criticized that “the U.S. has no sympathy, has no empathy. People are dying, and they don’t want a system here to help them.”
