He was an ally of the United States, but his moral fervour towards Egypt and Syria led him to be the first to implement the embargo, in which Algeria, Iraq, Kuwait, the Emirates, and Qatar participated. It lasted from October 1973 to March 1974 and taught the supporters of the usurping Nazi-Zionist entity an unforgettable lesson. Today, under the rule of regimes whose leaders lack independence of decision-making, boldness and magnanimity, the only Arab peoples who are calling for imposing such a ban – are doing so on the streets – during protests!

In the UK, Oliver Cromwell’s ‘New Model Army’ possessed such structures (abolished after the so-called ‘Restoration’ of a Constitutional Monarchy in the UK) – as did the Soviet Red Army. Today, the Armed Fotces of Cuba, China, Vietnam, Laos and North Korea possess ‘People’s Armies’ all possessing a strict discipline which is coupled with egalitarian bodies where all constituent members are considered ‘equal’! The British Regiments of Foot which took on and finally defeated the ‘Imperial Guard’ at the (1815) Battle of Waterloo – picked-up the bearskin hats worn by the ‘Grande Armee’ – and after removing the regimental name plates, insignia and symbols of rank, were granted permission by the British government to wear these garments as part of their parade uniforms.
This sculptured memorial is constructed of red granite which forms a ‘walkway’ divided into two distinct halves. One half represents Britain whilst the other half represents Canada and the two country’s joint participation in WWI and WWII. The inclined sculpture is inset with 506 bronze maple leaves (the Canadian emblem) and the country’s coat of arms. Water flows across the sloping surface and creates an illusion of floating leaves. The ammunition discovered included 105 mm OFUM 105 F3 rounds – with white phosphorus (in the foreground) – as well as 105 mm OFL 105 F1 finned sub-calibre rounds (second in line). OFUM 105 F3 are intended for use as smoke projectiles – but under certain conditions they can also be used as incendiary devices. This is an out-of-date Cold War (lightweight) military machine more suited for domestic usage – controlling and countering civil unrest. This ‘Light Armour’ was designed to be used in a supportive-role with ‘Heavy Armour’ – but appears to have been incorrectly used by the AFU as a ‘Frontline’ Tank. As a consequence, its wheels (and under-carriage) have been easily destroyed by Russian Forces!
