Progressive Malta: Island Nation Seeks to Boost Science, Technology Cooperation with China! (20.11.2024)

During Scerri’s recent visit to China, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) and SM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen science communication and youth science education with a focus on participation in the “Beijing International Week for Science Literacy,” as well as collaborations in scientific publishing and digital science communication.

SM is also exploring collaborations with the Chinese Academy of Sciences for researcher exchanges and with the National Natural Science Foundation of China for broader collaborations, according to Scerri.

“We wish to cooperate further and diversify the Sino-Malta R&I portfolio offering at Science Malta,” Scerri noted.

Human performance must exist on a scale that allows an “average” ability in real life that ensures the survival of the human race. Migratory humans used to “walk” thousands of miles whilst following the good weather and the shifting herds. All humans, men, women and children, as well as the young, old, and ill, would participate in these massive migrations – with the lower speed ensuring the greater survival rate over-all. Yes – those who could run fast over long or short distances had their place – but such abilities were considered peripheral to the needs of tribal survival.

China: Explaining The West’s “Over-Production” Fear-Peddling! (3.10.2024)

Portraying China’s manufacturing capacity as a global risk, this narrative is a variant of the “China threat” rhetoric, with its toxic seed germinating in the hotbed of the West’s anxiety, or probably fear, due to China’s manufacturing rise.

From a low-cost manufacturing base to the world’s largest manufacturing powerhouse and an up-and-coming leader in advanced industries and innovation, China’s rapid elevation has unsettled some Western countries, who perceive it as an intolerable challenge to their industrial and trade dominance.

Responding to China’s manufacturing prowess with such apprehension smacks of hypocrisy and also ignores basic economics. China’s production capacity was seemingly not a problem at a time when many Western corporations capitalized on the country’s low-cost original equipment manufacturer (OEM) production capabilities.

Neither was it a problem when Western superiority was underlined by China having to sell a billion pairs of socks to buy a Boeing airplane, nor when China’s spare-parts production abilities helped propel worldwide sales of high-value-added products such as Apple iPhones.

“Russia-China relations have become a factor of global stability and a true example of a relationship between two major countries. Russia and China are not allies, but they trust each other more than average participants of Western formal alliances,” Dynkin said.

Even though he is British – he is certainly a class enemy of top-notch proportions. He stands on the bones of 41 million Soviet men, women and children – whilst he eats well and enjoys the freedom this mound of death has earned him! Perhaps this is the film the workers should make!
