Gee Wyles - Covid Star Medal for Bravery 2020-2021

NHS: Gee’s “Covid Star” Medal for Bravery! (18.7.2025)

Of course, when medals are issued en masse like this, as also seen at the end of WWII) it often takes some time before the medals are a) made, and b) presented to the recipients. Gee’s work record and demeanour under pressure were assessed and found “suitable” for the awarding of the “Covid Star” during 2022. Since that date, we have been patiently waiting to receive the physical object – and hold it in our hands. Gee volunteered to work with NO protective-clothing or equipment on the NHS frontline saving human-lives in the UK – so I would say she has earned the right to be called “British”! Gee showed more English-grit than the “White” keyboard warriors sat behind their computer screens concocting all kinds of stupid and anti-intellectual nonsense! These very bad and poor examples of “Englishness” will never know the “grace under pressure” that people like Gee exhibited during a National Emergency. Indeed, Gee saved their ungrateful lives.

Test Fire - DPRK

DPRK: Missile Administration Conducts First Test-fire of [New-Type] Strategic Cruise Missile! (26.1.2024)

The Missile Administration of the DPRK conducted the first test-fire of the new-type strategic of Cruise Missile – the “Pulhwasal-3-31” -under development on January 24th, 2024.

The test-fire had no impact on the security of neighbouring countries and has nothing to do with the regional situation.

The Missile Administration explained that the test-fire is a process of constant updating of the weapon system and a regular (and obligatory) activity of the Administration and its affiliated Defence Science Institutes.

Anthem of the Seas – Cruise to ‘Nowhere’ – 11th-15th of July, 2021!

This is a selection of the hundreds of photographs our family took whilst aboard the ‘Quantum Class’ Cruise-Liner ‘Anthem of the Seas’ – which is owned by Royal Caribbean International! This was part of the ‘999’ give-away deal which allocated ‘free’ four-day cruises to 999 members of the British NHS, Police, Prison Officers, Fire-Brigade, Army and other members of the Emergency Services! This was a ‘thank you’ by Royal Caribbean for the bravery and determination of the ‘Blue-Light’ Card holders who kept the UK safe during the ongoing Covid19 pandemic! My partner – Gee Wyles – won this cruise as she has served on the NHS frontline from day 1 of the emergency as a London Midwife!
