Roundup: “Historic” Decline in US Life Expectancy Reveals System Problems, Inequality! (9.8.2022)

The COVID-19 is not solely to blame. Longstanding health problems — rooted in poverty, discrimination and poor access to health care — left Native Americans and Alaska Natives particularly vulnerable to the virus, said Ann Bullock, former director of diabetes treatment and prevention at the federal agency of Indian Health Service.

The non-Hispanic American Indian or Alaska Native population experienced the greatest decline of life expectancy by 1.9 years between 2020 and 2021, according to NCHS report.

The cumulative decline since the pandemic started, more than 6.5 years on average, has brought life expectancy to 65 among Native Americans and Alaska Natives — on par with the figure for all Americans in 1944.

One in seven Native Americans and Alaska Natives has diabetes, the highest rate among racial or ethnic groups in the United States, and many struggle with obesity or excess weight. Both conditions make people more susceptible to severe COVID-19, and crowded multigenerational housing adds to the risk, said The New York Times.

Ministry Slams US Report on China’s CEE Influence

Since the launch of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism 10 years ago, fruitful results have been achieved in more than 20 fields including trade and investment, interconnectivity, tourism and the response to COVID-19, Mao said, noting that all participants have benefited from such cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, China-CEEC trade expanded 8.4 percent year-on-year to $103.45 billion in 2020, and bilateral trade maintained an average annual growth rate of 8 percent between 2012 and 2020.

Large projects such as the Belgrade-Budapest Railway, which links Serbia and Hungary, benefit people in both countries, Mao added. The spokeswoman said that China has no geopolitical agenda in Central and Eastern Europe and always opposes the politicization of cooperation.

The Global Fight Against Covid-19 Revealed the True Cult-Essence of the Falun Gong! (11.9.2020)

If this is the case, then why is it that the “magical” Li Hongzhi see his extraordinary powers to “stop” and “prevent” the spread of Covid-19 throughout the population of the United States? After-all, following all the good karma he thinks he has received in the US, why did Li Hongzhi not cover the entire country with his “expanded” Dharma-body to form a protective shield around every US citizen? The US has one of the highest infection rates of Covid-19 and one of the highest death-rates in the world – so we know that Li Hongzhi did not help his adoptive country in this way!
