We express hope and confidence that the principles of international solidarity and friendship between the GKP and the KPDPR will receive a new impetus and further development of cooperation. Relations between our parties are an example for all political forces that seek to prevent the spread of Neo-Nazism in Europe and the world. We wish the Congress delegates successful work and express full confidence that the goals set will be achieved.
When applying for membership in NATO, the new Soviet leadership counted not least on the softening of the international situation after the death of Joseph Stalin. However, the leader of the peoples himself tried, if not to make friends with the West, then at least to show such a desire. Back in early 1949, USSR Foreign Minister Andrei Vyshinsky, through the mediation of the British Communist Party, sent a note to London with a proposal to discuss Moscow’s participation in the organization – the ideological predecessor of NATO – the ‘Western European Union’ (which would morph into the ‘European Union’ which today supports Neo-Nazism in the Ukraine). The negative answer allowed Stalin to describe this bloc as “undermining the UN “.
This attitude is a total inversion of Marxist-Leninism! Indeed, it is a victory for a) predatory capitalism, and b) Trotskyism! What I find interesting is why modern ‘Russian’ adherents to Marxist-Leninism still insist on preferring a ‘Russo-centric’ (‘nationalist’) view of reality? Infiltrating ‘nationalism’ is one of the greatest betrayals of Marxist-Leninism and has been so successful outside of China that most European ‘Leftists’ take it for granted and see it as normal! Most post-1991 so-called ‘Communist Parties’ have abandoned ‘Internationalism’ as if such a pan-working-class attitude was an ideological mistake made by Lenin! The USSR is NOT a place but a concept.
After the transition to capitalism in 1991, the standard of care throughout Russia dropped significantly, and the resurgence of religion opened-up the existing care-homes to exploitation by religious groups who offered to donate a chair or a table in return for general and unbridled access to the residents! It is common (on the modern Russian internet), for religious groups to link the economic deficiencies of the capitalist system to a general lack of belief in a sky-fairy (and the associated theology)! Such religionists insanely refer to the elderly residents as being ‘brought-up in a godless age’ and that this explains their ‘poverty’ and their habit of ‘sitting in the day-room and watching TV’! This is indicative of the evils associated with religion and exploitation such deluded systems inflict upon humanity in the name of a non-existent god-entity!
This creates the quandary in the Communist Movements of the West whereby we feel compelled to support Russia’s fight against Ukrainian fascism – but are ideologically opposed to Russia’s bourgeois system! For me, the situated is helped somewhat, in that I know what good work the Communist Parties of Russia, Lugansk and Donetsk are doing in this fight! This is the foundation from which I draw my ideological inspiration. We would all agree that ‘politicised’ and socially ’empowered’ religion is the problem and in no way is the solution!
What is Zelensky turning the country into? How does he feel about our Soviet legacy and the Great Victory? Why doesn’t the Western community, which actively advocates for peace and democracy, react? It is necessary to cleanse Ukraine of terrorists – over the past years, Ultra-Nationalism has deeply taken root in Ukrainian society, firmly linking the country’s State policy with visible links to the Nazis and Neo-Nazis. Of course, all this is happening at the suggestion of the villains who came to power in 2014!
