BDS: McDonald’s Hit by First Sales Drop Since 2020 Amid Boycott Campaign Over Gaza! (1.8.2024)

Other American companies, including Starbucks, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s, as well as brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Wix, Puma, and Zara that have pro-Israeli stances or financial ties with Israel and investments there have also came under fire and faced boycott calls.

The current boycott campaign could be considered the latest part of the pro-Palestine Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against the Israeli regime.

Thousands of volunteers worldwide have joined the BDS movement, which calls for people and groups across the world to cut economic, cultural, and academic ties to Tel Aviv to help promote the Palestinian cause. The movement has been so successful in causing economic damage to the regime, which pro-Israel groups have labeled “an existential threat.”

Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said today addressing the UN Security Council that Washington continues to provide Israel with “a license to kill”.

He said: “Algeria organized discussions in good faith to produce its draft resolution, but the US in effect issued an ultimatum, asserting that the draft was dangerous as it would obstruct ongoing talks.

“Indeed, Washington continues to insist the Council not interfere in the US plans, he said. The US has vetoed similar draft resolutions in the past, he added.

Inbetween bouts of committing ‘genocide’ in Gaza – the Management of McDonalds has decided to give free food and drink to these murdering criminals! The point is that this is not a new policy – as McDonalds has been pursuing this policy for quite sometime! A beautiful sight today is seeing entire McDonalds Outlets being entirely EMPTY!

BDS Victory: PUMA Forced to Drop Sponsorship of Israeli Football Team! (13.12.2023)

“The years of relentless, global BDS pressure on PUMA and the damage to its image should be a lesson to all companies supporting Israeli apartheid, that complicity has consequences. It is also a lesson to the deeply complicit, Western-dominated FIFA, which continues to shield Israel from accountability despite the settlement teams violating its own statutes,” said PACBI in a statement.

“We thank the hundreds of grassroots solidarity groups, athletes and teams across the world who supported the call from 215 Palestinian teams to boycott PUMA,” it added.

“This boycott win is a bittersweet victory as Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians continues. But it gives us hope and determination to hold all genocide enablers and apartheid supporters accountable until all Palestinians can live in freedom, justice and equality,” PACBI concluded its statement.

In September 1948, Israeli militants murdered the UN Ambassador to Israel – Folke Bernadotte – no action was taken against Israel. During 1956, Israel recruited a number of Jewish agents in Egypt and authorised a terrorist campaign of bombing against British and US leisure and business targets (the ‘Lavon Affair’) – no action was taken against Israel.

This situation has come about through the fact that Israel sponsors Zionists living in London to harass, intimidate and attack the protesters (which includes Palestinians and other people sympathetic to their cause). This was a demonstration of good people fighting racism on the frontline and their example will be remembered by the people.
