Well, it’s that time of year again in the UK. All the school children are invited to wear a festive jumper – which is a little ironic for the Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus that live amongst us. There might also be one or two reluctant Jews thrown into the mix. After all, most of these groups have already celebrate their equivalents of Xmas.
On the occasion of the meeting with the leaders of the Republic of Cuba, Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith reaffirmed the consistent policy of the Communist Party and the Government of Laos towards the Communist Party and the Government of Cuba in the struggle in the regional and international arena, including the struggle to end the blockade of Cuba that has lasted for more than 60 years and expressed the success and victory that the Communist Party, the Government and the People of Cuba have achieved in protecting the results of the Revolution and the development of the country – as well as congratulating Cuba for hosting the summit of the Group of 77 countries and China at this time – which shows the international confidence and recognition of Cuba’s role in the international arena.
Hereford is the place where the (professional) 22nd Special Air Service (SAS) has its military base and airfield. Many men in this area either have been in the British Army – or are members of the ‘V’ (‘Volunteer’) Squadron of the SAS. This is a ‘Territorial Army’ (TA) Unit in the 22nd SAS that allows local men to try ‘Selection’ and if successful – join this highly elite group of men. Believe or not – there are individuals out there who are not in the British Army (and have never been in the military) and yet are physically and psychologically tough enough to meet this challenge!

As my father helped run the ‘Claimants’ Union’ – he would receive free legal advice from the Professor – who would explain the rules and regulations governing the administration of the British Welfare State. My father – and other people – would then assist the poor and impoverished as they sought to negotiate with the ‘DHSS’ and navigate their way around the Bourgeois legal system designed to ‘exclude’ them (the weakest segment of capitalist society) from securing their ‘Rights’! This is where I first learned that the 1948 Reforms carried-out by the incumbent Labour Government in the UK were premised upon their Soviet counterparts (devised by Lenin and other Old Guard Bolsheviks). Essentially, the Soviets found that collective taxation provided the government with vast amounts of money which allowed the State to provide high-quality assistance to those in need! In turn, millions upon millions of terribly impoverished populations were given free education, healthcare, housing and social help – lifting them out of this state of deprivation in a matter of just one or two
In our “Socialist” world then – which hah not yet been cut into competing National entities with pointlessly competing pseudo-histories – the wonderful people of a beautiful country simply saved the lives (and guaranteed future existences) of vast territories that were in trouble – without dividing it according to (Bourgeois) Nationality (or national-tongue). It’s scary to imagine the consequences – if something like this happens today!
The Vermont Police appear to be attempting to build a ‘racist’ narrative which associates hedonistic drug-taking with the practice of Buddhism. The idea is that ‘drugs’ and ‘Buddhism’ are ‘violent’ and ‘defiant’ of all the norms of Western civilisation – and this is ‘why’ Rita Curran was killed! I would suspect that spaced-out hippies are the least likely of anyone to commit violent crime and that the ‘White’ (conservative) Police are a little confused in their narrative building. If William DeRoos did commit this murder (and the DNA evidence does support this hypothesis) – then he committed this crime because he possesses some type of mental and behavioural ‘illness’ – and not because he chose to align himself with the peaceful and wisdom producing teachings of the Buddha. As for drug-taking – there is no evidence of this at all until much later in his life – the reason for which I would suspect some sort of painful ‘illness’. As always – think for yourself when weighing-up the evidence.
